I cannot believe that the Guiding Light will end on September 18. I began watching the GL when I was a doctoral student in the early 1980's doing my statistics homework. People watch the GL because the characters are wonderfully warm and engaging people you can care about. We enjoy being a part of their world. CBS is making a terrific mistake.
