The Many Lives of Guiding Light's Bradley Cole.

    Thursday, July 09 2009

While in pursuit of Edmund, Jeffrey's plane went down and everyone is sure he's dead. Then again, everyone was also sure that Edmund was dead. Both characters have been in this kind of territory before. Bradley Cole played Richard Winslow from 1999-2002. After that character's demise, the actor returned as Jeffrey, Richard's doppelganger. Could the lantern Reva's been lighting for Jeffrey really bring him back home, or is this the end of the second of Bradley Cole's characters?

Anyway, if you are missing him and in need of a fix, here's a peek at one of his non-soap opera roles. Cole played Daniel in the French sitcom, "Les Filles D'a Coté" from 1993-1994.

The series followed an ex-patriot American photographer (Cole) living in Paris and allowing the unemployed son of an old friend to live in his apartment with him. Three women live across the hall from them and all of them have fallen in love Cole's character. The series was one of several which Cole did while living and working in France. He also appeared on the series, "Les vacances de l'amour" and in the feature film, "Une pour toutes."

If that isn't enough of him in French, you can also see the accomplished singer/songwriter performing in the language of love in this clip.

I've loved "Jeffery" on the Guiding Light and not bad on the eyes either. I would still love to see Josh and Reva back together and maybe let Jeffery still be alive. It would be interesting to see Jeffery survive the plane crash but with a loss of memory never to be regained. I would still love to see Jeffery on the Guiding Light but with no love feelings of Reva or the baby! I still cannot believe that Guiding light is ending and I think it is soooo unfair to remove it from t.v. I also believe that if this has happened to Guiding Light, ALL OUR FAVORITE SOAPS ARE IN DANGER OF BEING REMOVED. It truly saddened me to see all the cast at the 4th July cook-out gathered around and knowing so many will be out of a job in this economy. I hope with all hope that it will be reconsidered and left on the air. Look at what happened to Days of our Lifes. It stayed on the air!!!!

I love Bradley's singing and I also love Jeffrey. My favorite storyline has been the Reva and Jeffrey story. They belong together and I want Jeffrey to come back to Reva and Colin soon. I don't believe he's dead.

I have loved the Jeffrey/Reva story line and don't want it to end. If Guiding Light has to end I want it to end with Jeffrey coming back for his Reva and Colin.
I still can't believe he is dead.

I love Jeffrey and Reva together. I can’t believe they had him in a plane crash. I feel that Jeffrey and Reva have real love and chemistry. I hope they bring him back to Reva and Collin with his memory of them. This was a very good story line and the writers should leave this story alone. I do not want Reva to go back to Josh ever. They need to find something else for Josh to do other then follow Reva around. Josh and Reva story ended a long time ago and they should leave it alone.
