Guiding Light Gears up for the Annual Rock Show for Charity. (Updated)

    Friday, August 21 2009

    Bradley Cole (CBS)
It's that time of year again. The performers of Guiding Light are already gearing up for the 5th Annual Rock Show for Charity. This year the event will be held on October 9 and will feature the extensive musical talents of the cast and their friends. As always, the event will be benefiting the American Red Cross.

A second show has been added to this year's concert. The event will feature performances by the Bradley Cole Band as well as special guests from his friends on Daytime.

More performers have been added to this year's roster. Kim Zimmer (Reva Shayne), Ricky Paull Goldin (ex-Gus Aitoro), Mandy Bruno (Marina Cooper), Caitlin Van Zandt (Ashlee Wolf), Daniel Cogrove (Bill Lewis), Karla Mosely (Christina Boudreau), Trent Dawson (ATWT's Henry Coleman) and Tom Pelphrey (Jonathan Randall) will all be attending and taking to the stage.

Fans of the inimitable Ron Raines (Alan Spaulding) will be happy to know that he has been tentatively added to this event but, unfortunately, may not be able to attend because of another commitment.

This year's performances will be split into a show at 7:00 PM and one at 9:30 PM on Friday October 9, 2009. Both concerts will take place at the American Red Cross of Greater New York, 520 W. 49th St., New York, NY 10019.
