    Back to the stage.

    Updated on April 23:

Ron will be appearing when "Follies" hits the stage at the Los Angeles' Ahmanson Theatre from Saturday May 3 through Saturday June 9. Please visit Center Theatre Group for tickets today.

Previously Reported on June 17, 2011:

Ron Raines, "Guiding Light's" ex-Alan, will be taking his current production, "Follies," to Broadway's Marquis Theater this summer. Though the actor is currently finishing up stage appearances in Washington D.C.'s Kennedy Center of Performing Arts, the production will finish out its run, for a limited time, in New York City and Ron tweeted, "Found out today about the move of "Follies" to The Great White Way after our matinee. Everyone is so excited. I think we'll be there in August."

"Follies" surrounds a reunited group of former follies who return to the soon-to-be demolished Weismann Theatre, where old wounds resurface as two stars and their husbands take a look at what their lives have become.

Ron stars in the Stephen Sondheim revival alongside Bernadette Peters, who appeared on "Grey's Anatomy" as Sarabeth Breyers back in 2008. Ticket information will be announced soon at the Marquis Theater.
