Real Life NYPD Officer & Army Officer on Guiding Light Set!

    Wednesday, August 30 2006

On August 30th Guiding Light starred some talented men from the "real world". Joe Lisi appeared as "Admiral Fuller" who is a retired Marine & NYPD office was joined by Royce Johnson portraying a "veteran" who is an Army officer.

They were on board the USS Intrepid where the episode was shot on location in New York City for honoring the character of "Josh" for his contribution with the H.B. Lewis Center Veterans Hospital. Other veterans also joined in on the shoot for a very special day. I commend GL for using these fine men and honoring them for all they do for their country!

Our veterans need honoring more often -- the story line about H.B.'s desire for a veterans hospital and Josh making the wish come true is great. Also thought it was great that Reva was there!!!! H.B. was important in her life also.
