On the cliffs, Grady imagines that Phillip has come to make a deal with him to keep quiet. Phillip knows that he abducted his daughter and held her captive. He tells him he'll be rotting in a jail cell next to Alan. Grady offers to help him put Alan away if he forgets about the kidnapping. He tells Phillip that Alan recruited him to frame Bill. Phillip stands there with his mouth open. Daisy calls just to tell Grady how much she loves him. When he gets off the phone, he tells Phillip that this can go either way. Phillip begins to shout until Grady tells him that he should be shouting at Dinah, she was the mastermind behind all of this. "I thought my family was better off without me, but I left them at the mercy of scum like you!" Phillip yells. Grady shrugs and casually threatens Lizzie again. Phillip finally blows up and grabs him by the throat before throwing him off the cliff.

Lizzie tracks down Grady and offers to make a deal with him. He says everyone wants to these days. Doris has offered him the chance to save the town from Alan. "I'm offering you the chance to keep your arms," she says, telling him that Alan will hire someone just like him to come after him. He doubts that will work because he could figure out what he could do. "Then we'll send ten of you," she says. He tells her she'll have to find someone other than her grandfather to fight her battles in the future. She needs her grandfather to feel secure. "That's too bad," he says, walking off.

Daisy and Grady are at the gym. He says they can be 'a couple in one of those sappy girl movies' now. He even offers to go and see one with her. She's delighted.

Lizzie arrives at the canning factory. She looks down in the basement and sees Grady changing. When he takes off his shirt, she gasps as she spots the tattoo covering the scar on his chest. Buzz calls Grady and asks to meet him at the police station.

Cyrus runs into his brother on the road. He rants at him for bungling the deal he just set up. Neither of them wants to go but they can't stay. Cyrus loves his brother and he can't watch him ruin his life. "I need Daisy," Grady says. "And I need you to stay alive," Cyrus says, hugging his brother.

Grady meets Daisy outside of her house. He likes her outfit and has her spin around for him. After taking her picture, he hands her his dog tags so that part of him will always be with her. He sends her back inside, promising to meet her later. She goes inside and finishes getting ready. Buzz sits at the kitchen table and drinks. She sits with him and offers to play poker. That Doesn't Make Any Sense.

    Thursday, March 05 2009

Grady chases after Daisy. He tells her that he will testify against Alan... for her. They kiss and she thanks him before taking him to Cedars to tell Buzz his decision. Once they tell him, Buzz thinks that this will make Grady a hero. He warns them that Alan will fight hard. Grady's willing to take that risk for Daisy. Buzz shakes his hand and tells him he's doing the right thing. Cyrus sticks his head in and orders his brother out. In the hall, he tells him about how Lizzie listens to the message constantly. He thinks he should leave town right now. Grady explains that he is going over to the good side and is turning on Alan. "You are so stupid," Cyrus says. Grady is sure he can handle this. He turns around and sends Lizzie another threat.

Cyrus runs into Lizzie in the parking lot. She shows him the latest message she got. She starts to wonder how long her dad has really been back and guesses that he must be the kidnapper. "That doesn't make any sense," Cyrus says. It makes perfect sense to her. She rushes into Cedars to talk to Alan and Cyrus calls his brother to tell him that they need to leave. "Don't worry," Grady says.
