Grady tells her about his mother and then they discuss American holidays. When she looks at her laptop, Ashlee's blog comes up. They watch her interview Rafe. He stutters through a discussion of what's happened to him in prison, but doesn't claim to be innocent or want to make excuses for his behavior. He doesn't feel that way about it and reminds her that he shot someone. She knows; she shot someone too, but she wants him to talk about how he ended up in there and Grady's role in it. This may be the best way to help Daisy, she argues. He agrees and shakes on it.

Frank takes the stand and talks about how rough things have been for Rafe and about Gus' death. Mallet is up next and explains his investigation of Gus and insists that Rafe is not a criminal, just a kid who made a bad decision. The judge deliberates for awhile and then tells Rafe that he is lucky to have such support, but he's committed a serious crime. He's sentenced to two years in prison. Natalia begins to yell out for her son and runs down to embrace him. He tells her that he will be okay and that he wants her to live her own life while he is away. Daisy rushes over next.
