    Olivia shows up at the courthouse to talk to Doris. The mayor is defensive, but Olivia only wants to talk to her. She's never had the kind of feelings she has for Natalia for anyone else before. She thinks that Natalia might have almost kissed her while she was unconscious. "If we kiss, then what happens next? I don't even know if I want what happens next. I wouldn't know who I am anymore," she admits. Part of her identity has always been her ability to attract men and have power over them; she doesn't know if she can give that up. Doris suggests she could gain something more. Olivia worries about what this could do to her daughter and feels like she is acting crazy. Doris tells her she's not alone but Olivia is too distraught and hurries off.

    Alan arrives at the courthouse to see Doris. He wants her to win the case against his son. She already feels she has a strong case. He offers to help her drive home the point that Phillip is dangerous.

    Olivia spots Doris in Towers. Doris says she's done her part and moved up Phillip's trial, now Olivia has to do hers and keep her secret. Olivia agrees to that.

    When Frank arrives at the station, Doris informs him that Dinah confessed to everyone about her role in the kidnapping. He agrees to investigate it right away.

    Dinah and Shayne sit in the graveyard. She's beating herself up. "I was trying to figure out a way to make people not hate me," she says. He thinks that will be tricky and asks her to run away with him. She can't; she doesn't want to run anymore, she just wants to be liked. "I'm going to tell the world who I really am," she decides. They go to the station. He asks her to run away again but she refuses. They walk in together so she can make her statement. They find Doris waiting. "I need to make a statement about Lizzie Spaulding's kidnapping," Dinah announces.

    Olivia hunts down Doris at Towers and tells her to get moving on putting Phillip back in jail. Doris is dismissive. Olivia watches her flirt with the barmaid and then rushes off. She calls Nat and tells her she has an idea of how to get Phillip.

    "You look pretty good for a dead guy," Doris jokes when Phillip goes to see her. He wants his trial moved up. She claims she has no power to do that and brushes him off with a suspicious glare.

    Olivia and Nat go to Doris' office. They tell her they don't care about her personal life but they will keep her secret only if she helps them. Doris agrees to move Phillip's trial up. They leave. She fumes.

    Cyrus is having a beer at Towers. Doris drunkenly tells him she fired his brother. She doesn't give people the kind of chances she gave him. She wanted to mentor him but he blew it.

    Olivia tells Doris that Phillip has taken her daughter. She wants him thrown in jail for the rest of his life. Storming out, she gets a call and runs off.
