    Doris runs into Natalia at the minimart. Nat tells her that Olivia is the love of her life and she's not letting go of her.

    Doris catches up with Olivia in the park. Doris tells her that she wishes she'd taken more risks in her life. Maybe it's time for her to risk everything and reach out for what's important, she says.

    Rafe runs into Marina at the courthouse. They talk about how much he misses his mom. Doris enters but stays out of sight and listens. Marina tells him that parents sometimes make choices without thinking about what it will do to their kids. He loves his mom more than anybody, but things are different now. She tells him never to doubt his love for his mom and advises him to take a look around... like at Ashlee and Doris. Compared to them, they are doing well.

    Doris finds Olivia pouting and eating vanilla ice cream. She tells her friend that she just isn't lovable. Doris sits with her and Olivia lists all of her problems and how she wants to be loved. The mayor tells her she already has that. Olivia's daughters love her for who she is, just like her daughter does, and neither of them have been particularly lovable mothers. Olivia thanks her, gives her a peck on the cheek and walks out.

    Doris calls her mom and asks her out for dessert so they can spend some time together.

    Inside, Dinah remembers that she didn't ask anyone to give her away. Remy volunteers. Bill and Lizzie come in. Remy takes Marina's arm and walks her into the court room. Doris begins the ceremony. Shayne tells Dinah that she has saved his life and taught him how to live again. The trust and honesty they've shared has meant everything to him. She tells him how much she's always appreciated how he accepts her for who she is. She will do everything she can to be the best she can be and she feels like a lucky woman. They exchange rings and everyone claps and congratulates them.

    Doris begins the service by talking about Jeffrey's love of music. She plays a recording of one of Jeffrey's favorite songs and then offers a personal anecdote. "I will miss him glaring at me from across the courtroom," she says, placing a gavel in a special box. Reva comes up and puts a chicken recipe in the box. Frank talks about how Jeffery liked the terrible coffee at the station. Mel talks about working cases with him and places the first case they worked on in the box. Rafe talks about how helpful he was and places the letters he wrote to the parole board in the box. Marina talks about how wonderful he was. Hawk speaks of how happy he became that Jeffrey married his daughter and puts a shot glass in the box. Olivia places photos of his children in the box. When Dinah goes up, she talks about how she first met Jeffrey and the adventures they had together. After saying how sorry she is, she places a tiara in the box. Reva tells her to be proud that he trusted her.

    Mallet watches his wife as she cries. She walks away to get some water and Mallet plods after her. He claims that he just wants to make sure that she is alright. She rushes back to the service as Doris continues. Doris says that the governor has awarded Jeffrey with the Medal of Valor for his service and hands it to Reva. As she weeps, Ava goes up. She talks about how she learned to understand her father by looking in his eyes. "I take great comfort in knowing that he was loved," she says. She places the earrings he bought her in the box.

    Doris goes into Company and tells her daughter that she is going to be looking after the service. Ashlee tells her mother that she admires how reliable she is and then tells her all about Natalia being gay and never telling her son. "That's a huge secret to keep from your kid, don't you think?" she says.

    Doris begins the ceremony and the couple exchanges their vows. Lizzie talks about how hard her relationships were and how she never thought that love was in the cards for her until she met Bill and learned to understand real love. Loving him is greater than any fantasy and she thanks him for choosing her. He tells her that when he came back to town, he thought he knew it all but she turned his life upside down. She makes him crazier, and happier, than he's ever been. She makes him want to be a better man. He thanks her for choosing him. Lizzie giggles uncontrollably as Doris brings the ceremony to an end.
