Frank hands Daisy a gift from Grady. Ashlee asks her what's going on. Daisy has been keeping him away to avoid adding more stress to the family.

Lillian tells the family that the surgery has gone as well as can be hoped but there will be awhile before they know more. She lets them in to visit two at a time. Ashlee and Daisy go first. Ashlee sobs and tells him that he has always been her hero. Daisy thinks he can do that because he always flies under the radar of her crazy family. "What you did today was legendary. I need to believe in guys like you Coop," she adds. Ashlee begs Coop to have a happy ending. He groans so they rush out to tell everyone that he's wake. Mallet and Marina go in next. "Our family spends too much time in this place," Coop gasps. They joke around and Marina suggests that they all go on vacation and tells him about her adoption news. They tell each other how much they love each other. He calls for Beth.

Ashlee and Daisy walk around looking for a doctor. Ashlee wonders if it was her voice that woke Coop up. He's been the best part of her life and she ruined things with him. She wonders if they could have another chance and admits that she never stopped loving him.

It's My Fault.

Lizzie walks into Company and tells Daisy she lost track of her family. Daisy realizes that she has no idea what's happened. She tells her that there was no wedding. Coop was in a car accident and is in surgery now.

Ashlee rushes into Company after Daisy calls her. She's eager to go over to the hospital and check on Coop, even if his new girlfriend is probably there. Daisy tells her who his new girlfriend is. Ashlee's baffled to hear it's Beth. Daisy sadly tells her about how everyone's love affairs are failing. She hasn't talked to Grady about any of this. After another car crash, it's probably not a good time for him to be around. They begin clearing tables. Ashlee admits that she should go and see Coop, but she doesn't want to because she's too 'weirded out'. Daisy assures her that Coop will get better. Buzz returns and anxiously runs by to prepare food. Ashlee decides she should leave. Daisy follows her grandfather into the kitchen. She tells him that no one will expect him to bring them food in the hospital. "It's my fault," he says. He breaks down, sure that his advice pushed Coop into this. Daisy thinks his advice was wonderful. "Look where it got my son," he says. When he saw Coop run off to stop the wedding, he looked so alive but now...

Cautiously Optimistic.

At Company, Frank and Buzz wait for Coop to return with Beth. They wonder what they will do when he gets back, but Buzz is sure that everything will change. They talk about Coop's book. Frank hasn't finished it yet. He asks Buzz what his book would be called. "'Cautiously Optimistic'," he says. Daisy walks in and Buzz tells her that Uncle Henry is bringing home a new bride. She's confused but tells them that she is very happy with Grady. "We'll take happy wherever we can get it," Buzz says. She wants to set the table for the newlyweds and thinks they need to create a magical moment. Buzz thinks they should be digging a moat but begins digging around for champagne and candles.

At Company, Daisy tries to keep everyone calm. Buzz and Frank run off to the hospital. Alone, Daisy picks up a candle and puts it in the window. Mallet and Marina arrive. Daisy explains that Coop was trying to break up the wedding. The cops run out. Bill arrives. Daisy tells him that there was an accident. She becomes upset but he keeps her calm.

Good Intentions And Big Mouths.

Bill meets with Daisy at Company. He tells her about searching for Phillip and his memories coming back. She hugs him, happy that he's had a breakthrough. Bill wonders if he deserves to be back with Lizzie. Daisy tells him that Lizzie needs to hear this and pushes him out the door, wishing him good luck.

Cyrus walks into Company and bumps into Daisy. He asks her if she's seen his brother. She tells him to try the mayor's office. She asks him what he's been doing with Lizzie. "We're having fun," he says. She orders him to stop messing with people's lives and tells him to leave Bill and Lizzie alone.

Matt is having coffee with Bill at Towers when Daisy arrives. She offers to talk to Maureen to help keep her on the straight and narrow. Matt will keep that in mind. He rushes off to meet Josh and Daisy sits down to ask Bill what happened. He didn't tell Lizzie his news because she was with Cyrus. "I've got a lot of work to do," he realizes. He needs proof that he is different.
