    Mother's Day.

    Friday, May 09 2008

In a field, Mallet rehearses his speech for the police board while Dinah tries to figure out where the sun will be when he gives it. Matt arrives and reminds her that they were supposed to go over some changes. Mallet excuses himself while she and Matt sit down and go over her plans for a golf course and share some pancakes. She imagines throwing a party for the town and tells him about buying the TV station. Bill can handle Spaulding, but she wanted a creative project for herself. Matt suspects she was trying to stick it to her mother. She explains that's not it at all; she just wants everyone to know that she can look after herself.

    I Have my Moments.

    Tuesday, April 29 2008

At the mansion, Dinah instructs Hilda on the proper way to set a vase and then tells her to put on some romantic music. She quickly changes her mind and orders all the TVs turned on to the sports channels. She paces around the yard and tries to calm herself with deep breaths. "Panic is not sexy," she chants. "Depends on who you ask," Matt says as he appears. She asks him to go and then probes him for answers from "the generic male point of view". He doesn't have much to say and wishes her good luck. They begin to bicker about Clarissa and whether Dinah is a good influence on her. He agrees to meet her sometime tomorrow and walks away. She goes back into the house and waits for Mallet. When he doesn't appear, she orders Hilda to get rid of everything she's prepared.

Dinah tracks Matt down and takes him to the park. Spotting mallet and Marina in the distance, she sits him on a bench and runs her hands through his hair, sighing over him. He knows that she is just doing this to make Mallet jealous and tells her that it won't work. Mallet and Marina sit by the water to eat. She tells him that this doesn't make up for making her partners with Harley. She asks him what this is all about. He tells her that he just wanted to eat sandwiches with her. They start talking but he "sucks" at small talk so she dares him to play ball with her. He gets dehydrated playing and she mocks him. He tells her she's "easy", not like Dinah. When she spots Dinah, she prompts him to go over to her. "It would be perfect if Cyrus and Harley showed up now," Marina jokes. Mallet is obviously bothered by seeing Matt with Dinah and asks Marina to dance with him. He starts to dance around and begins to twirl her.

Dinah approaches Mallet and accuses him of following her. She calls him a hypocrite. "Is this how you're going to make it up to Frank? By dating his daughter?" she taunts. Meanwhile, Matt and Marina eat chocolate bars and watch. "They sure are lucky they know us," he says. Afterwards, Mallet and Marina walk back to the station but he doesn't want to talk about what happened. He worries that Dinah might do something to hurt her. She kisses him. Back by the water, Dinah asks Matt to rip off his clothes with her and go swimming with the geese. He tells her to stop playing games. She admits that she's been using him to bother Mallet. He's always been good to her and he didn't deserve this. She asks him if they can start over. He offers her half a sandwich.

    Never Ever Ever.

    Wednesday, April 16 2008

At the mansion, Dinah finishes breakfast alone. She tells herself that she has everything. She goes out and meets Matt, telling him that she and Mallet will be back together soon. They discuss her plans for a mini golf course. He finds this hard to swallow but she's insistent that Mallet likes mini golf. She finally has her own home and wants to fill it, she explains. After he walks away, she calls Hilda and informs her that she is going out.

Dinah and Matt meet up back at the mansion. She tells him about her disappointing date with Mallet. He tells her that Mallet doesn't know what he's missing. She asks him to play mini golf. He agrees, but only if they take Hilda and Jeremy. They call them over. Later, she spots Rafe wandering around the grounds to see Gus' old room and say hello to Jeremy. She starts screaming at him and telling him that he's not allowed there. He ignores her.

    You're Back.

    Wednesday, April 09 2008

Dinah runs into Matt outside the mansion. He tells her he's waiting for the person who owns the place. She shocks him by telling him that that person is her. She wants to do some good, she explains. He was good to her when she was sick so she wants to help him out now. She asks him to keep her take over of the mansion a secret and he agrees. "You're back aren't you?" he smiles. They go over to the court house with some plans for mansion. They run into Vanessa. After an awkward moment, Matt excuses himself. Dinah tells her mother that Matt is just helping her with her new house. Excitedly, she tells Vanessa that she bought the mansion. Vanessa agrees to keep the secret, "but what about you?" she asks, skeptically. Dinah kisses her mother goodbye. Later, Dinah and Reva meet up at the mansion. She says that Alan wouldn't buy into her offer, but shell try later. Right now, she is leaving town for awhile, but promises to keep everything secret.

    I Made it up.

    Tuesday, April 08 2008

Dinah dances around her new mansion until Remy interrupts her. She wonders if he thinks she's shallow since she's dancing while everyone is mourning for Gus. He's confused. She explains that the mansion is now hers. He's impressed but suddenly wanders off. She goes out and runs into Matt while he bikes around town. She tells him that Gus' death has made her realize she needs to revere life and then, abruptly, power walks away.

    The True Love Card

    Wednesday, March 05 2008

In his office, Bill is trying to get in touch with Lizzie. He's already set up a custody hearing. Matt walks in to remind Bill of the happy days before Jonathan. Bill misses those days. He goes to visit Mel and tells her how worried he is and how he feels about Lizzie, though he doesn't want to "label it" and isn't sure how long it will last. As he rambles, Rick is walked through the hall by a guard. She notices and calls down to him.

Bill runs over to Cedars and listens to Beth defending Alan to Lillian. He tells her that Rick spent the night in jail thanks to Alan. Jonathan peaks around the corner after eavesdropping. Bill goes to a room and finds a naked woman in his bed. She has a tag on her leg: "Like your gift? Call Lizzie." Matt goes to see Billy and tells him that Jonathan didn't even last an hour on the job. When Billy takes a drink, he realizes there is something wrong with it. He finds a tag on the drink: "Like your gift? Call Lizzie." As Lizzie gets her nails done at the salon, Lillian calls her to say that someone changed the prescription of one of her patients and left a message from her on it. Lizzie doesn't understand. Suddenly, Beth calls and tells her daughter that her car was stolen and she's to blame. Then Billy calls with his complaint and then Bill calls with his. While the woman she sent him is hot, he wonders why she sent her with a note. "If this is your way of trying to get rid of me, it isn't half bad," he says, hanging up to make out with his hooker. Lizzie quickly realizes that there is only one person who would go to this much trouble to set her up. She runs off to get Roxie but is told that her husband took the dog. He left a note. "It will only get worse. Call Jonathan."
