Dinah can't understand why he is throwing things away. "My wife killed someone," he says. "So did I," she reminds him, telling him he asks too much of people. Outside Company, Ashlee leaves Dinah to look after Henry for a minute. Dinah shows Henry the ring and tells him she doesn't deserve it. She never wanted anyone to get blamed for the murder, but she had to protect the baby from Edmund. As she confesses to killing the man, Matt stands a few feet away and listens. Dinah hopes that someday she'll be forgiven, but she did it all for Henry. Matt startles her and admits that he heard everything. Ashlee comes out and Dinah runs off. Matt chases her down. He tells her that this isn't the same as what happened with Hart. She cries and he suggests that she just let the police blame Jeffrey and leave this alone. He thinks she needs to have a happy life. She doesn't deserve it, she claims. He tells her that no one does and she should just bury this skeleton in her closet.
