Mallet goes to see Reva and tells her that Jeffrey will be exonerated thanks to Dinah's confession. He apologizes but she isn't happy and slams the door in his face. After he's gone, Marina shows up to say that she's sorry and she's worried about Shayne. Dinah saved Shayne but now he could be back on a bad road.
As Shayne is led into the cells, Reva arrives to rant at Mallet. Josh arrives to post bail. Marina walks by and into the cells to tell Shayne how much this sucks. He agrees. She goes upstairs and asks her husband to come home with her.
Josh and Reva bring Colin down to the cells to see Shayne. He's released.
I Ruin Everything I Touch.
Josh and Reva are at Towers. She claims that she's actually had a good day today and asks for a lift home. When they get to Cross Creek, he's eager to leave but she begs him to stay and keep her company. She admits that she isn't doing as well as she'd hoped. They talk about the wedding and how their son used to want to live with polar bears. "Marriage is one of the great joys of life. That's why I've tried it so many times," she says. He announces he's leaving to play pool. She wants to go with him. Before they leave, Shayne rushes in and hugs his mother, apologizing and telling her that he didn't know. He tells them that Dinah killed the John Doe and was going to let her hang for it.
Alone, Reva tells Jeffrey's portrait that she is going to be sad forever.
Facing Up.
At Cross Creek, Reva tells Jeffrey's picture that she thinks she has everyone convinced that she's doing alright. She misses him more and more though. Without Colin, she doesn't know what she would do. Billy drives up to take her to the wedding.
At Towers, Josh and Reva admire how happy their son is. She hopes that it lasts. Bill toasts to his sister and Shayne. She turns to her husband and tells him about the baked Alaska. He worries about having her around combustibles.
I've Almost Got Him.
Reva and Josh are at Cross Creek talking about the wedding. He teases her about 'being girly' and picking flowers with Vanessa. She suggests that they give the newlyweds Cross Creek. Reva doesn't know if she wants to be there anymore and it's always been the Lewis cabin. She's sure that Dinah and Shayne can make it a happy home again.
Dinah picks a baked Alaska as her wedding cake. Vanessa isn't entirely convinced. Matt approaches and Vanessa runs off to talk to the baker. Dinah tells him that she wishes people weren't making such a big deal about this. He tells her again that she deserves to be happy. After he leaves, Mallet and Marina walk by and compliment them on the carriage. Dinah and her mother ride down the street and meet Reva at the flower shop. When Dinah runs in to get lilacs, Reva tells Vanessa she's glad she has something happy to focus on.
Rick, Matt and Ed head to the bar. Rick looks around for women. Reva comes in, ready for some bourbon. Shayne and Josh arrive and the drinking begins. Remy toasts to the bride and groom. Reva toasts to true love. As the guests begin playing pool, Josh tells Reva that she doesn't have to put on an act. She refuses to let anything get in the way of her celebrating her son getting married. As she leaves, Shayne gives her a worried look.
