Cassie and Josh go out for supper. In walks Olivia asking them to join them at the Beacon for supper and he tells her Cassie will be his date because they're seeing each other. Shocked, Olivia snaps that she thought the last she heard he was still married. Josh tells her Reva has chosen to be out of the picture for quite awhile and he made his choice. Olivia asks them how long it's been going on and they say it's very recent. She still asks them to join her at the party. Cassie runs after Olivia telling her to ...let them have it.... Olivia says she just has one question, how did Reva take it? Cassie tells her they haven't had a chance to with her being gone.
Josh and Cassie decide to head to Olivia's party. He asks Cassie what her and Olivia spoke about. Josh says that it's no fault of their own they haven't had a chance to talk with Reva. She doesn't feel right about going public to everyone about this until Reva knows. On their way, they run into Jonathan and Tammy. Tammy excited and happy, tells them that her and Jonathan are engaged! Josh and Cassie congratulate them asking them to join them at the Beacon for the party. But before they go in, they turn back to them and tell Tammy & Jonathan that Josh and her are seeing each other. Jonathan looks at them shocked at what he just heard.
He's furious telling them they have no right to screw around on Reva. Asking them what the hell is wrong with them. Jonathan tells them they can't do this because....
Josh asks him what it is? Why should he give a damn about what Reva is feeling, what is it? But Jonathan just glares at him - furious.
It's still there replies Lizzie. What is, Tammy ask. ...The black car.... She tells Jonathan and Tammy that it hasn't moved for about five hours and she's certain it's one of Alan's goons. They frown at each other asking her if she would like to come to the beach with them, but she declines.
Later, Lizzie returning from the company screams at the strange man to leave her alone and she runs to her home banging on the door. Jonathan comes out asking what's wrong. She yells, pointing to the man that he's been following her. Jonathan asks him if that's true? She insists that he's one of Alans guys. The man looking confused asks who Alan is? Jonathan asks him what's really going on and the man tells him he saw her drop her wallet and was trying to return it to her. Helping her up, Jonathan assures her everything is fine, but she insists that was just a ploy made up by Alan to scare me. Jonathan tries to convince her it was nothing but she doesn't listen.
Trying to calm her down, Tammy gets her to relax and explain what scared her so much. Lizzie, talking to herself and her baby stating that Alan will not get them, will not hurt her or her baby. Lizzie jumps up asking them if they heard that ..." footsteps in the hallway?! They reply they don't hear anything and start to discuss how they can protect Lizzie...¦. From herself!
Josh tells Cassie he's left a message for Reva. He needs to clean things up with her. Cassie asks him if he told her anything. He assures her he certainly wouldn't over the phone! Later, Hawk walks in on them both telling them ...ain't this cozy.... They look up and Josh asks him what he's doing there? Hawk tells them they should be ashamed of themselves. Josh tells him he doesn't know what he's talking about. But Hawk snaps back at Josh telling him Reva's up in New York with the kids trying to pretend she doesn't have a broken heart. He goes on to say all the kids showed up and they had a great time. But he knew Reva was hiding something and now he sees what it was, the two people she loves the most have stabbed her in the back.
Cassie and Josh share an breathtaking kiss. She can't believe he's there with her and asks Josh if he's sure this is what he wants. He assures her nothing is going to change his mind about wanting her. Cassie asks him about Reva, but he tells her this is not about Reva, it's about them and whatever she decided, it doesn't matter any longer.
Josh tells Cassie he's been wanting to make love to her for such a long time as he kisses her neck. They share other times they longed for each other. Cassie tells him this is the perfect time and place to be together. The nanny interrupts them telling them her son wants to see her.
Waiting to hear from Cassie, Josh meets up with Blake who hints that she approves of Josh and Cassies budding relationship. She confides that Cassie has told her everything but Josh doesn't want to discuss it.
Cassie locates Billy at Outskirts and demands answers to Reva's whereabouts. Billy continues to cover for Reva but balks on how much Reva's actions have hurt Josh. She tells Billy that although they haven't acted on their feelings for each other, maybe it's time Reva get a taste of her own medicine and feel some pain of her own. When Billy leaves, Dinah insists Cassie leave Springfield because when Reva DOES return, Cassie will be tossed aside and alone.
Josh finds Billy and corners him, questioning what he really knows about Reva's whereabouts and her condition. Josh uses Billy's phone to all Reva to come home. Cassie, overhearing the phone call, books a one way flight to San Cristobel.
Cassie chides Josh for buying her flowers ...if they're too expensive.... But Josh scoffs at the comment saying nothing is too expensive when it's not expected. As Cassie takes the flowers, she strokes Josh's hand. They flirt back and forth as Reva looks on wondering what's going on between the two. Confused, Reva ducks into the background trying to sort out what she thought she just saw between her husband and sister. Still not wanting to admit it, she continues to look on as Josh pulls Cassie into a Greek dance circle shouting how they sure make a great pair! Reva hides once again, determining that it can't be all in her head. Whispering to herself how it's too much for her to deal with, it can't be happening she tries to tell herself over and over. Josh and Cassie are not at the fair for business. They met up to have fun. A wore down beaten Reva swears on revenge. Calling Billy she demands answers and tells him the best thing about a dying person is that they cannot be held responsible for their actions and hangs up. But Billy rushes down to the fair and finds Reva. Billy encourages Reva to leave with him.
