We're Going To Set me Up.

    Tuesday, June 16 2009

Mallet returns to the station and rants to Frank about how hard things are. Josh arrives and asks Mallet how things are going. Mallet blows up at him and Josh admits that the family hasn't been completely forthcoming. "I need to talk to you outside," Josh says. They walk out and Josh explains that he found something on the construction site and hands him some 'evidence'.

My Only Crime Today Is Faulty Logic.

    Thursday, June 11 2009

At Cedars, Josh and Jeffrey wonder what's going on. Rick arrives to give them some answers. He claims he has no idea who ordered the cremation and takes them back into the morgue to look for the missing body. "This is not good," Jeffrey says. They go inside and Rick checks around before explaining that it's a clerical error and the ashes have already been scattered. Josh and Jeffrey find it hard to believe that this could all be due to a clerical error.

Jeffrey and Josh wander around and talk about the case. Jeffrey says that if they had the ashes, they could have run a DNA test. "What if that body wasn't his?" Jeffrey wonders. He suggests that Edmund could have found a lookalike to kill and be framing Reva. That sounds reasonable to Josh.

Marina brings Mallet coffee at work. Josh arrives and fills him in about Edmund. Mallet is shocked and he's not happy that 'the Hardy Boys' have been investigating. When he relates his theory, Mallet laughs. Josh still thinks he needs to look into it.

    Wanna See A Dead Body?

    Wednesday, June 10 2009

Josh is jogging in the park. He stops and sits down with Marina. They talk about Shayne and Josh admits that Edmund seems to be causing more pain dead than he did when he was alive.

Olivia tries to start her car. When it's not working, she pops the hood just as Josh arrives. He offers to help. "I fixed a stroller yesterday. Maybe I'm on a roll," he says. They engage in a lot of mechanical double entendres and then begin kissing. She pulls away and apologizes. "But you did it so well," he says. He teases her and offers to fix her car. After he does, she drives off.

Jeffrey calls Josh and asks him if he wants to come and see a dead body. Josh isn't busy so he goes to the morgue to see him. The mortician comes out and tells them that they can't find the body. "I'm afraid there was a misunderstanding," he explains. Edmund was cremated that morning.

I Guess Any Of Us Could Have Done It.

    Tuesday, June 09 2009

Olivia walks into Company and orders a muffin when Josh calls her over. "I'm not interested in your muffin at the moment. I just want your company," he tells her. She asks him how Reva is. He dreams of a day when no one will ask him that. They talk about their lives and he asks her if she's looking for a way to fill her time. He's never seen her at loose ends like this. They talk about being alone and their needs. Josh gives her suggestions on how to let her energy out.

Shayne meets his father at the baseball diamond. He asks him if he thinks there's any chance Reva killed Edmund. Josh says there isn't, but he wouldn't blame her if she did it. "I guess any of us could have done it," Shayne admits. He asks his father if he would confess if he'd done it. Josh says he would have.

    Good Luck In This Town.

    Thursday, June 04 2009

In the cells, the guard comes in and cuffs Reva before leading her out. "You can't be serious!" she barks. When she gets upstairs, Jeffrey tells her what the police found. They meet with the judge who explains that the evidence is satisfactory and the charge will be murder in the first degree. As she's led to processing, Josh asks if he can accompany her. Daisy runs in and they order her to go back to Company and get Reva some pie. Frank fingerprints Reva and tells her that he hopes she's not guilty. When he walks out, he and Mallet talk about how hard this case is. Mallet admits that this case is far from over. Jeffrey walks in after posting bail. He takes Reva home. Frank looks forward to a day when he doesn't have to arrest someone he knows. "Good luck in this town," Josh says. They decide to go drinking.
