    Beth tracks down Alan and James in Company. She confronts Alan and James wanders off. Beth accuses Alan of trying to anger Phillip and keep control of the family. James watches from the bar and tries to sneak a beer. Buzz catches him and hands him a root beer. James is tired of all the rules. Buzz warns him that it only gets worse. Beth and Alan continue to argue. She's afraid her son will never learn there are consequences to his actions. He thinks she's having a hard time with the fact that Phillip hasn't made her the center of his world since he got back. When he mocks her relationship with Coop, she threatens him and storms off. Alan walks over to the bar to collect his grandson.

    Buzz goes to visit James and hands him dessert. He's impressed by the scam that he pulled and admits that, when he was his age, he would have done the same sort of thing.

    When Buzz gets back to Company, he finds Frank working there. He tells his son that he'll miss him.

    At Company, Daisy tells her grandfather that she feels like it's her fault that James is in jail. With some probing, she explains that she made James a fake ID and helped him out. Buzz warns her that this is bigger than she understands, but James is a Spaulding so he should be out of jail in a few days.

    Outside, Buzz asks Daisy how James was. She complains about his family.

    Phillip is on the roof screaming. "Sucks doesn't it? Fatherhood?" Buzz tells him. He gets philosophical. Phillip claims he only wants his son to be okay. Buzz is sure he wants his son to be a better man than he is, but he can't make him one. Sons are what they are and it's their job as fathers to be able to see what their dreams are. "But what do I know? I'm just an old man," he says.

    At Company, Buzz and Frank are in their suits and tell Daisy that she's invited to the engagement part too. Daisy worries about her grandmother. Frank is called back to work. Ashlee rushes in looking for Bill and Lizzie. She's been documenting them so she can sell the pictures to the tabloids. She urges her friend to come to the party with her. Daisy says she might show up later.

    Cyrus is on the phone with Natasha. She's eager to get Edmund's diamonds. Cyrus assures that they will but he has to work on his cover right now. He walks into Company to see Buzz. He's looking for a job. Buzz tells him that Marina's the new boss and starts laughing. They see Marina come in. Cyrus slowly walks over and tells her that he needs a job. She agrees to take him on. Buzz is shocked. Cyrus calls Natasha to tell her the news.

    Back at Company, Marina tells Buzz that hiring Cyrus may have been the stupidest thing she's ever done, but she felt sorry for him.

    At home, Frank is looking at real estate ads when Marina and Buzz come in. They're arguing about the murder investigation. After Marina stomps away, Buzz notices his son has been looking for a place to live and asks him if he wants him to move with him. Blake arrives, eager to take Frank apartment shopping. Rafe trails after her. "You need a roommate?" he asks. Frank takes Blake aside and tells her that he's old enough to live on his own now. Marina returns and Frank tells her he's moving out. "You're a big boy now," she says enthusiastically. Buzz steps up and says he's moving out too. Frank tells him he needs his own space. "He needs to get a life," the women say in unison. Rafe sits at the table laughing and Marina offers to pack the bags. When they leave, Buzz tells Marina that he was just teasing Frank.
