Birthday: June 14 1982
At his place, Remy is looking at a diamond. He leaves it on the table and jumps in the shower. When Christina walks in, she spots it. When he comes out, he drops his towel to distract her and claims that he's excited to see her. She says the evidence contradicts him. She claims that she knows what he's really up to. He begins stuttering. "The fact that you want to marry me again is wonderful," she says. He pulls on a towel and gets down on his knees to propose. She tells him that it's not easy to say no, but they are better the way they are. She hopes he's not mad. He's not.
Remy and Christina go over to Towers. She asks to see the diamond again and smiles at it. Doyle arrives to buy the diamond. Doyle checks it out and talks about how exquisite it is. They hand off cash and Doyle leaves. The couple is thrilled to see how much cash it is. Frank surprises them. Remy panics, but Frank doesn't actually know what's going on. He asks for a minute alone with Remy and tells him that San Cristobal are saying that Edmund stole the crown jewels and they have to be on the lookout for them. "Your job is to go out and find those gems," Frank tells him. As they walk out, they bump into Cyrus and then hop into the elevator.
Remy runs into his father outside of the bank. Clayton explains that the bank is going forward with the foreclosure. He still hasn't been able to tell Felecia. "I've let down the entire family," he admits. They sit down and talk. Remy asks his father to wait on telling Felecia until later. After Clayton leaves, Remy calls Mr. Doyle about the diamonds. As he walks down the street, he looks inside Company and sees Christina and Marina. He goes in anyway. Christina tells him that Marina has been complaining about being involved with a cop, but she's sure this will keep him on the right side of the law.
Frank, Marina, Blake, Christina, Rafe and Remy sit around in Company and talk about money and Reva's arrest. Remy gets a call and runs off. When Marina and Christina are alone, Christina admits that she's worried about Remy becoming a cop again. He already seems stressed out. Marina is sure that he must be under a lot of pressure. She notices that he left something behind and leaves to bring it to him.
At his place, Remy calls his contact to set up a meeting. Christina comes to the door and asks him if he believes in curses. "I believe in solutions," he says. She hurries off and he sits down to stare at the diamonds. He calls his father and tells him that he's working on his problem.
Dinah finds Remy outside the police station. He explains that he's being reinstated today. He's starting to feel bad about pocketing the diamonds so she reminds him of all the wonderful things he's done. She goes inside and asks Mallet how the case is going. He tells her it still looks like it could have been just about anyone. She follows him around and he repeats that he can't give her any information. She tells him how upset Shayne has been. Mallet admits that he's not on the top of the list.
Christina and the Boudreaus arrive at the station to see Remy be reinstated. Blake and the Coopers come too. Everyone laughs and they take pictures. Dinah pops up and Remy worries to her about the diamonds. She tells him not to. Frank and Mallet come out to start the ceremony. Frank swears him in and everyone claps. His family hugs him and Clayton tells his son that he shines inside. Marina tries to lure Mallet to the picnic but he leaves for work. She seems frustrated.
They all go over to the baseball diamond. Felecia teases her daughter about not getting a man and then teases Christina about being divorced. She insists that she and Remy are much better divorced. Dinah and Remy run around and then get some cake. After the picnic, the family begins packing up and Clayton walks off to take a call. Remy follows him and asks him what's wrong. Clayton explains that the bank needs money he doesn't have. He doesn't even have a plan to pay it back. Remy promises him that they can fix things. "Don't worry about me. There's no way that you can fix this," Clayton says.
Dinah finds Remy drinking at the bar. She tells him that the gathering they had for Edmund sort of freaked her out. The same goes for him. It was like Edmund was talking to him from beyond the grave. He shows her the diamonds he found. She's impressed and guesses that he got these from Edmund. They must be trouble, she suggests. He thinks they could solve his problems.
