Mallet corners Reva and Jeffrey in the park. He explains that a witness has identified her voice as the one she heard with Edmund before he died. Jeffrey advises her not to say anything. She admits that she saw Edmund. He confronted her about Shayne. They argued and split up and she never saw him again. She's tired and wants to go home. Mallet warns her that she better not be lying to him.
Shayne catches up with Marina outside of Company. She can sense that something is wrong. As he tries to explain, Lynn, the waitress, interrupts and takes Henry inside. Shayne tells Marina that Edmund's tape got him thinking. She's in a hurry to take the baby to the hospital for his appointment. He offers to go with her in case they need more blood. She's confused and rambles and then it begins to click for her. "I'm Henry's biological father," he confesses. She freaks out when he tells her about the DNA test. He continues explaining everything but she only becomes more distraught.
Inside Company, Buzz catches up with Christina about her money troubles. She worries about Remy and asks Buzz to get his favorite foods ready so she can surprise him at work. Buzz begins to stutter and then hurries off. She finds him looking after Henry and asks him what's really going on. Before she can walk off, he grabs her and tells her that Remy lost his job and was afraid to tell her. When she sits down with Henry, Marina runs in and grabs him. Shayne follows her in. He still wants to talk. She begins shouting, accusing him of not thinking straight. Shayne just wants to be honest with her. "I'm not going to let anyone do anything to harm my son," she says, walking out with the baby.
Dinah finds Remy drinking at the bar. She tells him that the gathering they had for Edmund sort of freaked her out. The same goes for him. It was like Edmund was talking to him from beyond the grave. He shows her the diamonds he found. She's impressed and guesses that he got these from Edmund. They must be trouble, she suggests. He thinks they could solve his problems.
Reva and Jeffrey go home. He massages her neck and asks her whether the stories she told Mallet and the one she told him were both lies. She claims that she was just trying to avoid further questions and if Mallet started digging around, it would get too messy. "I did not kill Edmund!" she insists. He says that his love for her is clouding things. She begs him to trust in their love. Jeffrey does trust her, but he also knows that there is nothing she wouldn't do if she felt her family was under threat. He feels the same way, but he didn't kill him. "For the record, I do believe you," he says. They kiss. As they make-out, she stops and tells him that she still doesn't have the okay from her doctor yet. "What's a few more cold showers?" he says with a shrug. They have a toast instead.
Christina finds Remy by the water. She asks him why he didn't tell her about losing his job. It hurts her that he wasn't open with her. He apologizes. She wants them to share everything and not put all of the pressure on himself. Remy explains that he's been offered his old job back. She's excited for him.
Mallet bumps into Dinah at the minimart. He wonders why she is buying diapers. She claims that they're just for a friend who may never actually use them. They talk about Edmund's tape and how it freaked them out. He guesses that being a father must have changed Edmund; he can understand that. "Henry is so lucky to have you both," she says.
Outside of Company, Mallet gets a call telling him that Edmund was definitely murdered. There was some PVC, the kind used in construction, found in his head. Christina and Remy walk past him and go inside to tell Buzz his news. Mallet comes in. Remy tells him he wants back in at the SPD. Mallet welcomes him back. They hug. Mallet wonders where his wife is. Buzz tells her that she's at Cedars and a little nervous. Christina begins setting up a party for Remy and tells him that he's a hero to her.
When Shayne shows up at the hospital, Marina freaks out again and accuses him of being her enemy. She rants at him but he repeats that she and Mallet will stay the child's parents. He wanted her to know the truth. Marina worries that he will change his mind. As she cries, he tells her that they are all bound together and he will help with anything they need. She continues to be defensive and Shayne promises that he will not tell Mallet anything. "You expect me to keep this a secret for my whole life?" she asks. He expects her to do what's best for her family. Dinah arrives and he walks away with her while Marina cradles her baby.
When Dinah and Shayne get outside, he explains that he told Marina everything but doesn't want to talk about it.
Mallet arrives at Cedars and finds Marina and Henry waiting for the doctor. "On days like this, a boy needs his father," he says. He notices how upset she is and asks her what's wrong.
