Jeffery brings Daisy in to see Reva at Cedars. Reva's exhausted. Jeffrey asks Daisy to cheer her grandmother up. She makes a face and laughs. Daisy finds it hard to see her like this. Reva tells them to go and see the baby.
Daisy takes pictures of Jeffery with the baby and runs off to show Reva while Jeffrey signs his son's release forms. "Who knew Jeffrey is so mushy," Daisy tells her grandmother. Reva knows all about it. She looks at the pictures and hopes her baby senses her presence. Reva's worried that Jeffrey is afraid to take the baby home and start his life. They barter over how much she'll pay Daisy to babysit. Jeffrey comes in and is happy to see them smiling. He leads Daisy out and then checks in with the baby's doctor. Jeffery's not sure he should take the baby away while Reva is still in there. The doctor says he's ready to go.
Shayne goes to see his father at the work site. Josh asks him why he ran out of the hospital the other day. Shayne explains that he's told Edmund everything. "You have no idea what you've done," Josh says. Shayne is sure that Edmund has changed and knows that he would have never hurt Lara on purpose. "People don't change quite that much," Josh says.
Shayne goes to Cedars to visit his mother. "We have to teach him how to be a Shayne," he says. She assumes he means how to be stubborn and ornery and asks him why he is smiling. "Whoever she is, if she makes you smile like this, I'm grateful to her," she says. He walks down the hall and finds Daisy and Dinah looking at the baby. He asks Dinah if they can talk about their 'project'.
Jeffrey sits with Reva. She tells him how beautiful their baby is and how she tries to hear him crying. In unison, they say that the baby needs to go home. He admits that he's scared to take him away from her. She thinks he needs to be at home with dad and is sure he can handle it. Jeffery wonders if she can. "I'll have to," she says.
Edmund is at Towers drinking when Beth sits down beside him. They joke about drinking before lunch. He wishes he'd stayed away.
Dinah runs into her brother in the parking lot. He doesn't want to talk to her. She tells him that she has been trying to right her wrongs. He's not impressed. She needs to be forgiven; she is still his sister and needs him to know that she will love him forever.
Lizzie and Philip see each other at the mansion. They're jumpy. She tells him that she should have known that Alan knew something, but assures him that she covered. "Why would you do that?" he asks. She lied for him and is sure Alan figured out the lie. Lizzie admits she would never have gotten over what Grady did if he wasn't 'taken care of'. There's a call - the verdict is in. Lizzie thanks him now in case he never comes back.
Alan goes to visit the judge in Phillip's trial. She reminds him that they shouldn't be talking. He tells her that he is trying to 'go green' for the community and shows her a car. When he pops the trunk, he points out the bag of money inside. "Now that's green," he says. "We have to rid this city of all its toxins so the next generation will be safe," he suggests. She takes the money.
Phillip finds his father waiting in the courtroom. "I was feeling pretty good until I came in here," Phillip admits. As the hearing begins, Daisy arrives and sits with Alan to watch. The judge offers Phillip one last chance to speak. He apologizes again and agrees to accept all consequences. The judge congratulates him on turning his life around, but the fact is that he is still guilty. She remands him to custody. Lizzie leaps up and shouts that this is not right and she doesn't want him to go. Phillip hugs her as she cries. Knowing that she feels this way will make things easier. Beth apologizes for failing but he insists that this is all on him. Alan offers to take care of everything while he's gone, just like last time. Phillip promises that this won't be like last time.
Edmund goes to the work site and bitterly reads over the dedication to Lara.
Edmund wanders around Cedars. He watches Reva wave goodbye to her baby as Jeffrey takes him home. Edmund stares in at Reva for a moment. A nurse comes in and hands her a laptop. She gets a call from Jeffrey. He sent the laptop and asks her to turn it on and hang up. When she does, she sees Jeffrey and the baby on the webcam. She thanks him for this. "Now we can be a family," he says.
Shayne and Dinah go to Towers. They try to figure out what to do. He looks through her mini bar and at her stack of self help books. She suggests they watch a workout video. He suggests they work out naked. "Do you burn more calories that way?" she asks. They kiss. After sex, she feeds him yogurt and he asks her if she has anything else he can eat. She decides to show him some yoga positions. Later, they order room service and admit that they never thought they would end up together. He thinks they've both hit the jackpot.
Josh returns to the work site and calls his brother. He warns him that he has a bad feeling and they all need to keep an eye on Edmund. Moments later, Edmund arrives and asks him if this memorial is really going to happen. "You need to do what's right by your son, I'm going to do what's right by my daughter," he says.
