"Sex is no way to solve your problems!" Nat bursts out as she runs from the room. Olivia follows her outside and asks her if she got laid. Nat doesn't appreciate the question. Olivia offers to listen to her problems. Nat doesn't think she would understand. As she tells Olivia about her relationship with God, Olivia tries to not laugh. Nat just wants to be good and atone for her sins. She admits that she has bad thoughts and that is as bad as actions. Suddenly, she gets a call and runs off.

Once she's convinced him that it's a good idea, they go in to see the adoptions agent. They play husband and wife and talk about how they first met. The agent finds her sudden appearance a little too convenient and points out that she's not even wearing a wedding ring. Dinah reaches in her purse and pulls one out. The agent will have to check their references but she's impressed. "We just want a baby that needs a home," Mallet says. When the agent walks out. He smiles and thanks Dinah before asking her how long she has been carrying the ring around. She likes to look at so she can remember that she isn't all bad. The agent returns and hands them a baby. She leaves to keep checking their references. Mallet excitedly holds the little boy and tells him about the house he can come and live in. The agent comes back and announces that the parents have realized that they made a mistake; they want the child back and he can't have him.
Marina is beside Buzz's hospital bed. He wants to talk to Daisy so she leaves to find her, leaving some gossip mags in his lap. When Daisy arrives, Buzz orders her to get Grady for him. Later, Grady arrives. Buzz tells him that he needs to get Alan and only he can help him. He needs him to confess to what happened with Tammy. Then Alan can finally go down and everyone in town will be grateful to him.
Down the hall, Alan is calling for a nurse when Lizzie arrives. She's the first family member to come and see him. She's in a crisis and needs him to come home with her right away. Lizzie plays the kidnapper's recording over and over before begging him to come home and protect her from Bill and Phillip.
Frank is about to unlock Phillip's cell, but he pauses for a moment to rant about how unbelievable this is. "It must be good to be a Spaulding," he sneers at him. "Yeah, it's great Frank," Phillip snickers as he walks out. As he collects his things, he tells Frank that he wishes he could have done more for Coop.
Marina and Shayne are at the mini mart eating and talking about baseball. They talk about what kind of kid she could have. When she brings up Lara, he walks off to get a beer.
Natalia runs into Frank at Cedars. "I didn't know you were going to be here," she says. He tells her about Buzz and adds that not everything that's happened lately has been sad. He's been leaving her messages but she hasn't called back. They were both upset, but he really cares about her and doesn't want things to get weird. "What happened between us can never happen again," she says. When she tries to walk away, he follows. Lizzie rushes over and tells him that Bill has gone missing. He tells her that her father was freed today. She panics and runs. Nat tells Frank that she used him because he was miserable. He tells her that's not so and what they did wasn't a sin. "It's a sin when you sleep with someone and you're not married. It's a sin when you can't control your thoughts," she insists. He wants to start over again. She can't.
Phillip arrives in Buzz's hospital room. He apologizes for what happened at the funeral. After some more awkward mumbling from Phillip, Buzz announces that he is going after Alan. "Do what you gotta do," Phillip shrugs.
Olivia arrives at the gym and runs into Jeffrey. He wonders which Olivia she is today. She apologizes for snapping at him the other day and begins complaining about Natalia and how she has no sense of fun. "She probably doesn't even enjoy sex," she says. Jeffery didn't think it had gone that far yet. Olivia gives him the death stare.
Lizzie runs home. She goes inside and listens to the message again. Phillip suddenly arrives. He explains that Beth got him out. Lizzie is still distant and tells him that he can't stay there. "This is my home," he insists.
Daisy begs Grady to do what her grandfather asked. He thinks prison is a high price to pay to get family approval. She's sure her family can keep him out of jail. He worries that Alan will come after him. She asks again for his help putting Alan away. "Do it for me. Do it for us," she entreaties. He can't.
When Natalia arrives at home. Olivia apologizes for mocking her before. "I don't know if you feel the same way I do," Olivia says, but she hopes that Nat can talk to her. Natalia bursts into tears and confesses that she slept with Frank. She doesn't know why because she doesn't love him. Olivia hugs her as she weeps. They sit on the couch and Olivia tells her that she's not perfect. Nat doesn't expect to be perfect; she's just afraid that God hates her for what she's done. "No one could ever hate you," Olivia says as she cradles her.
