* You can catch GL's Darnell Williams (Griggs) on stage in Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell. He hit the stage on June the 12th in the production which features stories and monologues from the late, great performer Spalding Gray, known for such groundbreaking work as Swimming to Cambodia and Monster in a Box. Along with the excellent Mr. Williams, such other great performers as Nip/Tuck's Dylan Walsh, Buffy the Vampire Slayer's David Boreanz and Michelle Trachtenberg and veteran performers Whoopi Goldberg and Fisher Stevens have appeared in the production. For tickets and additional information, please visit the show's official website here.
* If you've ever wanted to know what goes through the minds of daytime TV's writers, you may want to check out this discussion forum sponsored by the The Writers Guild of America. GL's David Kreizman will be there alongside Shelly Altman (OLTL), Judy Tate (ATWT),
Leslie Nipkow (OLTL), and Claire Labine (Ryan's Hope). Kreizman, of course, just took home an Emmy for his work on GL and took home a Writer's Guild of America award last year for his work on the show. Audience members will get to pick their brains for information on the process and production of their favorite shows. The event will be moderated by TV vet Tom Fontana, known for such shows as Homicide: Life on the Streets and former Robert Bogue (AC Mallet) stomping ground OZ.
The event will be held on Wednesday, June the 20th between 7 and 9 PM at the The JCC in Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Ave. at 76th St.. For tickets and additional information, please visit this link.
