If his brief return to Guiding Light this month as Danny Santos wasn't enough for you, you'll be able to catch Paul Anthony Stewart live on stage in New York next week. He will be taking part in NYTB @ The Duplex, the monthly cabaret series highlighting new composers, lyricists and performers.
The evening's entertainment will feature composer Julia Meinwald and the writing team of Anna K. Jacobs and Maggie-Kate Coleman. Stewart will be joined on stage by many of Broadway's talents, young and old, under the musical direction and accompaniment of Rich Silverstein and Mark Evans.
The performance will be on Monday July 27 at 9:30 PM at The Duplex Cabaret Theater located at 61 Christopher Street @ Seventh Avenue. There is a $10 cover charge and a 2-drink minimum. For your reservations, please call 1-212-255-5438 or visit The Duplex's website.
In other theater news, the actor has just been cast in a revival of Garson Kanin's "Dreyfus in Rehearsal." The play follows a group of young actors rehearsing a play about Alfred Dreyfus, a French officer who was infamously persecuted by anti-Semites. As the actors work on the piece and think about their personal lives, they remain unaware of the growing anti-Semitism around them.
The production will be taking place at the Beckett Theatre between July 30 and August 7.

And if all of that wasn't enough, the busy actor will also be appearing on stage on Wednesday August 12 in "Marry Me A Little. Paul will be hosting the musical with lyrics and music by the one and only Stephen Sondheim. It's a song cycle telling the story of two lonelyhearts, alone on a Saturday night with only their romantic dreams.
