    Original article January 3:

Kevin McKidd (Dr. Owen Hunt, "Grey's Anatomy") has spent a portion of his holidays over in Scotland recording music. Kevin tweeted, "It is a week long recording of local musicians from my home area, all old Scottish songs. Done in hopefully a new way." Kevin headed to his homeland on December 27 and two days later shared via Twitter, "The session will be in an old house in the beautiful countryside of Moray, Scotland. Lots of open fires, hot soup, whiskey and music!"

Soaps.com wishes Kevin great success with the album. Co-star Patrick Dempsey was also busy over the holidays. Check out a video clip of him on Anderson.
