    A role fit for a queen.

    Disney plans to release a "Sofia the First" storybook and digital EP in advance of the movie premiere, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The book will be available in print form and as an e-book beginning Tuesday November 6, and the digital EP album will debut on iTunes and other music retailers one week later on Tuesday November 13.

    The movie, "Sofia the First" premieres on Disney Channel on Sunday November 18 at 7:00 PM, and on Disney Junior on Thursday November 22 at 9:00 AM. Mark your calendar and check your local listings!

    Actress Sara Ramirez (Dr. Callie Torres, "Grey's Anatomy") has signed on to be a part of a new animated movie by Walt Disney Co., "Sofia the First." The title character is a young princess, who will be voiced by Ariel Winter ("Modern Family"). Sara will be the voice of her mother, Queen Miranda. The movie, expected out next fall, will translate into an animated series on Disney Channel and Disney Junior in 2013. Also lending their voices to the film are Wayne Brady ("Who's Line Is It Anyway?"), as Clover the rabbit, and Tim Gunn (Project Runway), as Baileywick.
