According to TV Line, April (Sarah Drew) and Alex (Justin Chambers) will need to buckle up for the bumpy road ahead in season 8 of "Grey's Anatomy." April, who was named Chief Resident at the end of last season, may face the envy of her peers, but she also has a tough job to do. Series creator, Shonda Rhimes, previews, "She’s not prepared to be Chief Resident, and she might find it to be much more difficult than she expected. It’s going to be a long road."
Alex, who ratted out beloved Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) last season, will face the resulting hostility from the other residents. Jesse Williams (Jackson Avery) has spoken out to hint that Alex will have a tougher go of things than April, but notes he is also better equipped to handle it. Chyler Leigh (Lexie Grey) observes, "That was a pretty big thing that he did, and it’s going to be really interesting to see how everybody feels about him."
Do you think the other residents are right to be angry and distrustful of Alex? Vote in the snap poll below.
