According to TV Line, NBC has cut "Goodwin Games" back from an original order for 13 episodes to just 7 for its debut season. The new series is set to begin airing in 2013. This news comes on the heels of the network's decision to extend the seasons of its other series, "Raising Hope," "New Girl," "The Mindy Project," and "Ben & Kate."

Actor Scott Foley, who played Teddy's (Kim Raver) recently-deceased hubby, Henry, on "Grey's Anatomy," has been cast in the new FOX comedy pilot, "Goodwin Games," according to TV Line. The show will tell the story of three siblings who are forced to reconnect in order to receive their deceased father's inheritance. Scott will play one of the siblings alongside actress Becki Newton ("Ugly Betty") in the series, which boasts the team of executive producers from "How I Met Your Mother." Scott is currently appearing on "True Blood."
