Original article July 14:
"Grey's Anatomy" creator, Shonda Rhimes, recently took to Twitter to answer rumors circulating that the coming season of the show might be its last. This week she tweeted, "Just for the record: This is not the last season of "GA". Definitely. Not." Sounds pretty conclusive! That's not all, though. Shonda also addressed the question of adding new cast members for season 8, tweeting, "We are not adding any more cast members this season. Full house already." She also used Twitter to express her hope that the show won't lose the characters of Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) after season 8. Fingers and toes crossed!
