Updated August 8:

'Calzona' season 8 spoilers have surfaced in TV Guide indicating that Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) will enjoy a period of relative calm after their disastrous car wreck last season. The now-married couple will adjust to life as new parents. As for the baby's father, Mark Sloane (Eric Dane), TV Line reports that he will continue to feel connected to Lexie (Chyler Leigh), so moving on won't be easy. Lexie's current beau, Jackson (Jesse Williams), will be in a difficult position as he is forced to work under Mark to learn his chosen field of plastic surgery.

As for the fallout from Meredith tampering with the clinical trial, TV Guide reports that Richard (James Pickens Jr.) will take the fall for her actions and vacate the position of Chief of Staff. Richard will stay with the hospital, but his position will be filled by one of the following: Bailey (Chandra Wilson), Mark, Owen (Kevin McKidd), Derek (Patrick Dempsey), or Callie.

More details have come to light regarding the "Grey's Anatomy" season premiere. According to TV Line, the opener will pick up with the characters only five days after we last saw them in last season's finale - so not much will have changed. Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) will still be struggling with their marriage as well as parenting their newly adopted daughter, and Christina (Sandra Oh) will still not have gone to have an abortion, though as previously reported, her final decision on her pregnancy will be clear by the end of the episode.
