Grey's Anatomy: Rachael Taylor Gets Extension As Lucy Fields image

Rachael Taylor (ABC)

More Karev and Lucy?

According to TV Line, actress Rachael Taylor, who signed on for a six-week run as OB/GYN Dr. Lucy Fields, has had her time on "Grey's Anatomy" extended. This is great news for fans of the developing romance between Lucy and Alex Karev (Justin Chambers), who can now rest assured that she will be on until the end of this season. However, Rachael has been tapped to appear as a main player in the pilot for "Charlie's Angels," and will not be seen around Seattle Grace for a couple of episodes due to the actress's taping schedule. If the pilot is picked up, which seems likely, the prospect of Lucy returning next season is slim.
