Ellen Pompeo, who plays Meredith Grey on Grey's Anatomy, launched a nationwide diaper drive campaign on Monday October 1. She kicked off the program with an appearance on "The Ellen Degeneres Show."
Pompeo decided to start the campaign after learning that one in three mothers in the United States struggle to provide diapers for their babies, according to a study by Kimberly-Clark. Through donations, drives, and events, Ellen, in partnership with Huggies, hopes to generate help in the form of millions of diapers. Those interested in getting involved can visit Every Little Bottom for more information.
