Thursday December 26:

"Glee, Actually" encore episode.

The show is an encore of last year’s tribute to the film "Love, Actually." Seemingly separate storylines come together as one holiday-themed episode, in which Sam (Chord Overstreet) and Brittany (Heather Morris) live their lives to the fullest before the much-heralded Mayan Apocalypse occurs.

Meanwhile, Jake (Jacob Artist) and Puck (Mark Salling) spend quality sibling time together for Hanukkah.

Artie (Kevin McHale) has a holiday dream that changes his outlook on life and Kurt has a Christmas he’ll never forget.

Tuesday February 25, 2014:

As announced by Fox Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly, at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, the remainder of the season will be set in New York.


Santana and Rachel are at odds while working together in "Funny Girl."

Artie and Tina go toe-to-toe in order to win the honor of becoming class valedictorian.

The show returns from the mid-season break and goes back to its Tuesday time slot.

Adam Lambert returns as Elliott Gilbert.

March 4:


Emma's pregnant!

Tina, Blaine and Sam band together as graduation approaches and hold a senior "lock-in" in order to savor their last moments together at school.

Becky joins in unexpectedly and changes things up.

In New York, Elliot finds himself in the middle of Rachel and Santana's feud.

March 11:

"City Of Angels."

The New Directions members head to Los Angeles to compete in Nationals.

Two very special guests accompany the members to the city of angels.

Chance Crawford guest stars as Biff, Quinn's love interest.

Gleeks celebrate 100 episodes of "Glee" and fans are encouraged to choose their favorite songs to be re-mixed and performed by the cast in the milestone 100th episode which airs Tuesday March, 18 on FOX.

Thursday March 25:

"New Directions."

It's the end for McKinley High.

Journey's Don’t Stop Believing will be sung by Artie, Blaine, Kurt and Rachel.

Thursday April 1:

"New York, New York."

Frank Sinatra's You Make Me Feel So Young will be sung by Blaine and Kurt.

NEWS! Shirley MacLaine is going to appear in multiple episodes of "Glee" and TVLine says her character has big plans for Blaine (Darren Criss).

From the musical, "Into The Woods," No One Is Alone, is sung by Blaine, Kurt, Sam and Rachel.

Rachel commits to her role in "Funny Girl."

Kurt's the target of an attack.

Thursday April 15:


Three characters are tested in matters related to love.

"I Wanna Know What Love Is," a Foreigner song, is sung by Kurt & Blaine.

Robert Palmer's "Addicted To Love" is sung by Artie.

Artie is tested positive for an STD and must tell his sexual partners.

Thursday April 22:

Special guests come to town for Rachel's Broadway debut in the opening night of "Funny Girl."

The Top 10 fan-chosen Glee songs from the past will be re-mixed and performed by the current members of New Directions in the milestone 100th episode. Production was delayed due to the death of Cory Monteith, and started August 5. "When we do the tribute episode to (Finn Hudson), we'll have to do it in a way where the cast members will not have to re-create feelings of grief that they've had this week," Glee creator Ryan Murphy said.

Season 6 marks last season of Glee.

Thursday September 26:

The second of two tribute episodes to The Beatles features the McKinley prom.

Tina's nomination for prom queen brings a change in personality that jeopardizes her standing with supporters.

Rachel and Santana start working in a diner on Broadway in order to make ends meet.

Rachel and Santana make a new friend in a struggling artist named Dani (Demi Lovato). The role for the singer will be a multi-episode arc.

Thursday October 10:

"The Quarterback."

E is reporting that Amber Riley (Mercedes), Harry Shum Jr. (Mike Chang), Mark Salling (Puck), Jayma Mays (Emma), Dot-Marie Jones (Coach Bieste), Mike O'Malley (Burt Hummel) and Romy Rosemont (Carole Hudson-Hummel) will all return for the tribute episode.

According to Naya Rivera, (Santana Lopez) the Finn and Rachel storyline will tackle death, and the characters in New York will be grieving together.

Centers around the death of Finn Hudson.

It is not revealed how Finn dies.

The friends and family of Finn mourn their loss and celebrate his life.

Rachel appears during the final act to sing.

Puck has a military recruitment storyline.

After episode three there will be a hiatus while the creative team reworks the season. The show will return after baseball finishes.

Lineup of new characters:

Erinn Westbrook has been cast in a recurring role as 'mean girl' Bree, a new student and member of the Cheerios.

The first three are recurring: Roderick Easton, a talented, theatrical forty-something with a big ego.

Jim Elliott, a handsome, smart academic in his mid-40s or 50s.

Jurgen, another man in his mid-40s or 50s, who’s either of German or Austrian descent, with an accent.

One unidentified, non-gender-specific, forty-something school board member.

A nerdy girl aged 18 who will likely wind up at William McKinley High.

Phoebe Strole ("30 Rock") has been cast as Penny Owen, Sam's (Chord Overstreet) new love interest, in a recurring role. Lea Michele (Rachel) tweeted:


Jenny is a cute, quirky girl in her twenties. She'll appear in episode two likely in New York City.

Ryan is a twenty something girl likely based in NYC who is able to play guitar and sing.

Ruby is a new African-American student at McKinley who will be in Glee Club.

Singing sensation, Adam Lambert will appear for more than a one-time guest spot. Creator Ryan Murphy tweeted this about Adam's appearance:

Kate Hudson returns as Cassandra July.

Jayma Mays (Emma Pillsbury) will leave the series after season five.
