"The Glee Project" winner Blake Jenner talked to The Hollywood Reporter about his character Ryder Lynn. He will debut November 8 on "Glee."
While Ryder is new to the show, the character isn't new to McKinley High, as he is an existing member of the football team. Jenner also previewed that Ryder, who is dyslexic, falls into New Directions by accident, much like Finn (Cory Monteith) did in season one.
It should come as no surprise then that Finn, who is directing the "Grease" musical, becomes a mentor to Ryder. Not only will Ryder join New Directions and land a part in the production, but he will also start crushing on fellow newbie Marley.
