Musician Jonathan Coulton Claims Glee Ripped Him Off.

    Friday, January 25 2013

    Another disgruntled musician.

Kurt (Chris Colfer) watched as NYADA's show choir covered Sir-Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back" during the "Sadie Hawkins" episode on January 24. Covering songs is nothing new to the show, but musician Jonathan Coulton took issue with it. Coulton claims they used his version of the song without crediting him.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Coulton claims the show got in touch with his people to say they were in their legal rights to proceed with their cover of his cover. While he admits he may not have a copyright claim, he is looking into whether or not they actually used his voice, which would give his case merit.
