They've been referred to, but never seen over the past three seasons, but now Rachel's (Lea Michele) adoptive dads have been cast. Per TVLine, Jeff Goldblum ("Morning Glory," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent") and Broadway veteran Brian Stokes Mitchell ("Ragtime") will play Hiram and LeRoy Berry.
While Goldblum is mostly known for his acting, he is also a jazz pianist and appeared in the Broadway musical "Two Gentlemen in Verona." Meanwhile, his onscreen partner Stokes Mitchell has appeared in many critically acclaimed productions and won a Tony award for his role in "Kiss Me Kate." He has also been seen on "Frasier" and "Ugly Betty."
The dads will appear in the Valentine's Day episode, titled "Heart," actually airing on February 14. What do you think of the choices for Rachel's dads? Comment below.
