    Updated July 25:

It seems the graduating seniors may not be leaving the canvas in season 4 after all. TVLine reported from the Comic-Con panel over the weekend that co-creator and executive producer Brad Falchuk had a different take on the situation than Ryan Murphy. Apparently, Falchuk told the crowd that just because Rachel, Finn and Kurt are graduating, doesn't mean they are leaving the show. He declared, "It was never our plan or intention to let them go...They are not done with the show after this season." Who should we believe? will keep you posted on any further details.

As already reported, some characters will be graduating at the end of season 3 on "Glee." That means their portrayers won't be returning to the series in any capacity. Series creator Ryan Murphy recently confirmed with The Hollywood Reporter that Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn) and Chris Colfer (Kurt) will not be returning for season 4. Does that mean Kurt's dad Burt Hummel (Mike O'Malley) won't be back either?

Murphy further previewed that there will be more characters leaving than will be staying and that all will be made clear in the season 3 premiere on September 20. In addition, the new season will find the kids at McKinley High in more stable relationships, freeing the writers up to focus on their plans for the future.
