The upcoming March 15 Regionals episode of Glee has been causing quite a stir among fans of the show, and it's not because of guest stars Loretta Devine and Kathy Griffin!
The hot topic: Who is going to die before the episode is over?
Though "Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy has already confirmed that a death will indeed occur during the "Original Song" Regionals episode, recent speculation and developments have helped narrow down the identity of the soon-to-be-deceased. TVLine's Michael Ausiello is reporting that the gender of the victim is male, and that the fallout of the death is bigger than the actual character being killed off.
According to various online reports, the "Glee" death is supposed to center around the homophobia storyline that has dominated much of season two. With that in mind, speculation runs rampant that Karofsky, the secretly gay character who bullied Kurt into switching schools, is being killed off via suicide. This is very plausible considering that Karofsky, though not a major player on the show, has meaningful ties to the rest of the characters. His death could very well be the eye-opener that brings Kurt back to McKinley High.
