Nothing lasts forever, including a student's time at William McKinley High School. Glee creator Ryan Murphy has recently confirmed plans to replace the show's original cast by 2012.
"I think you have to be true to the fact that here is a group of people who come and go in these teachers' lives – they graduate and they're gone," Murphy recently told The Herald Sun. "When some of them finish their run at high school it will be very teary episodes."
You may find it uncomfortable or even absurd to envision "Glee" without the likes of Rachel Berry (Lea Michele), Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) and all of your other favorite originals. While Murphy echoes these sentiments, he also admits that the show must go on.
"For me it will be particularly tough but a new crop (of actors) will come in," stated Murphy.
