Per The Hollywood Reporter, Jonathan Groff (Jesse St. James) has been cast in an HBO pilot. The untitled comedy revolves around a group of gay friends living in San Francisco. Groff will play a successful video game developer, who is unsuccessful in love.
The project comes from Sarah Condon ("Bored to Death") and Michael Lannan ("Remember Me"). The pilot will be directed by Andrew Haigh ("Weekend").
