Big changes for New Directions.

Same day update:

Other details coming out of Comic-Con include Damian McGinty (Rory) not returning for at least the first half of the season. He could show up during the back half though. The producers would also like to bring Samuel Larsen (Joe), Alex Newel (Wade) and Chord Overstreet (Sam) back at some point. Vanessa Lengies' Sugar Motta will also be returning. It was noted that none of the 15 regular cast members will be in every episode. In addition, Sue (Jane Lynch) will have had her baby when the show returns in the fall, but the identity of the father is still unknown. NeNe Leakes will also return as swim coach Roz.

The cast and crew of "Glee" gathered at Comic-Con on July 14 to dish what's ahead for the New Directions gang. The following are some of the major story points to look out for in season four.

When the show returns, there will be a three-month jump forward from when we last saw everyone send Rachel (Lea Michele) off to New York. There will also be another Britney Spears tribute, which will feature Heather Morris' Brittany again. It will be featured in the second episode of the season.

As for Rachel, she'll be starting at NYADA where she runs into trouble with her dance classes. She'll also have a hard time with her teacher, played by Kate Hudson, who won't be as nurturing as Mr. Schue (Matthew Morrison) has been.

Meanwhile, Finn (Cory Monteith) is a question mark, as no one knows what happened to him after he went off to join the army. Seeing him with a shaved head is a possibility.

After getting rejected from NYADA, Kurt (Chris Colfer) is stuck in Lima for now and unsure of what to do. But it was teased that since Rachel is his best friend, it would be hard to keep them apart.

Then there's Santana (Naya Rivera), who apparently turned down her mother's offer to go to New York. It looks like she took the cheerleading scholarship at the University of Louisville after all.

Regarding those still at McKinley High, New Directions will go back to being the underdogs after losing so many seniors and will need to fill a few spots before sectionals. In the meantime, their leader Mr. Schue is happily living with Emma (Jayma Mays), but they're still just engaged.
