And the winners are...
Updated September 16:
Per The Hollywood Reporter, plans for all the "Glee Project" winners are in place. We already told you about co-winner Damian's story arc below. Now we know that his fellow co-winner Sam Larsen will probably show up as a relative of Puck's (Mark Salling), but won't be seen until episode 10 or 11. As for runner-up Lindsay Pearce, she will play the leader of another singing group, who will be a "nemesis of sorts" for Rachel (Lea Michele). She will be seen in the premiere on September 20. Finally, co-runner-up Alex Newell will come in later in the season.
Updated August 31:
According to E! Online, Damian McGinty will be the first of "The Glee Project" winners to show up at McKinley High. He will play an exchange student named Rory, who stays with Brittany's (Heather Morris) family. Rory will show up in episode four. Speaking of the host family, the powers that be are apparently casting Brittany's mother. As for fellow "Glee Project" winner Samuel Larsen, he will appear by the end of the fall semester.

The season finale of The Glee Project produced a few surprises. While most reality shows only reveal one winner, the Oxygen talent contest produced two. Depending on how you look at it, you could actually say all four finalists won though.
At the end of the show, Ryan Murphy announced that both Samuel Larsen and Damian McGinty would appear in seven episode arcs in season 3 of "Glee." Not only that, but runners up Lindsay Pearce and Alex Newell will also appear on the musical dramedy for two episodes. Not a bad consolation prize.
Congratulations to all four finalists. To read the full recap from the night go to Soaps.com's sister site Reality TV Magazine at The Glee Project Recap: Season One Finale.
