"Glee" takes on the "King of Pop" during special Super Bowl episode.
A Fox representative has confirmed that Glee is set to tackle Michael Jackson's "Thriller" during a special episode that will air following this year's Super Bowl. Soaps.com has also learned that Jackson's song will be mashed-up with another well-known hit, yet to be determined. The episode is also rumored to feature covers of songs by Lady Antebellum, Katy Perry, and the Black Eyed Peas.
To keep with the sports-themed nature of the evening, the episode's storyline will deal with the local football championship as well as the cheerleading regionals. Expect Coach Beiste (Dot Jones) and Blaine (Darren Criss) to make guest appearances.
