General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

Liz runs into Lucky at Kelly's. She's planning to grab a table and make out her Christmas cards from there. Lucky offers to meet her for a bite to eat after he checks out one more lead (on Jason). Maxi comes in and wants him to fill out some forms for her ob/gyn and help her decide when they should take a Lamaze class. Liz asks “Isn't it a little too early for that?”

At Windermere Nikolas, Emily and Alfred can't figure out where Spencer and Colleen are. Just as Nikolas is about to call the police, Colleen brings Spencer into the room and Nikolas jumps down her throat. She explains that she took Spencer out to look at the stars. Nikolas is curt with her and tells her that he needs to know when she takes his son from the house.

Ric and Detective Cruse have just searched room 815 at the Metro Court, but the only people there are Carly, Jax and Sam. Just then, room service delivers dinner and Ric assumes it's dinner for Jason and Sam. Carly lifts the lid off of the tray and dinner for one is revealed instead. Ric warns them that Sam will spend between 25 years and life in prison, and if Carly and Jax aren't careful, they will be accomplices. Then he leaves.

Sonny orders Lorenzo to let Lulu go. Lorenzo tells Lulu that he won't hurt her, but she needs to cooperate. Like a true Spencer, she pulls away and tells him to forget it. With the sound of sirens getting closer, Lorenzo gives the order to leave the scene. After he and his thugs drive off, Lulu tells Sonny that she could've handled the situation on her own.

Lucky and Liz are within earshot of Maxi when Georgie comes out from the kitchen and asks how her little niece or nephew is doing. Maxi shies away from the attention to her belly, which prompts Georgie to ask her sister why she is so jittery? Maxi explains that when you're pregnant, everybody wants to touch your belly and she doesn't like that.

Nikolas asks Emily if she'll take the baby upstairs and get him ready for bed. When he's alone with Colleen, she promises to never leave with Spencer again without her cell phone. Nikolas explains that he's giving her a month's notice – by the end of 2006 he will no longer need her services. She cries and asks what she's done to make him fire her?

After Ric leaves the room at the Metro Court, Carly chastises Sam for blindly running after Jason every chance she gets. They got lucky this time with Ric, she warns. Carly's cell phone rings and it's Sonny; he needs her to come over to the house right away. After she leaves, Sam asks Jax why he is still with Carly. She tells him that it's obvious that he'll never come first with her. Just as Jax starts to explain, there's a knock at the door. Jax has called Alexis to come get Sam.

Lorenzo has called Skye over to talk to him. When she arrives, he tells her that something has happened and he needs to explain before she hears it from someone else. He tells her that he almost killed Lulu Spencer tonight. He explains how Lulu became a witness to the Spinelli situation and why she needs to be silenced. He goes on… because Lulu's not a member of his family, she is expendable, that's just the way it works. Skye is stunned. She doesn't know what to do with this information. She asks why he stopped short of doing it then. He explains that Sonny and Jason showed up. Skye tells Lorenzo that he gets points for honesty, and then asks if he has to kill her now, too.

At the hospital Robin and Patrick argue about their different professional opinions. She tells him to file a complaint with the hospital board if he doesn't like her attitude toward their patients.

Maxi corners Liz at Kelly's and starts to get in her face about how they all need to get along for the children's sake, etc. Georgie interferes and tells her to lay off of Liz. Maxi, in turn, goes off on Georgie and tells her she should be worrying about her own situation with Dillon. Maxi fabricates that she was at Luke and Laura's wedding and the entire Spencer family wants Dillon to be with Lulu. Dillon walks in, overhears this and cuts Maxi off, saying that she's blatantly lying. Liz pipes up that the Spencers are not pushing Dillon with Lulu! Maxi cuts in and says that Georgie is living in a dream world. After they all disband, Dillon tells George that she is the one he loves. Georgie wonders if he's trying to convince himself.

Back home at Sonny's, Lulu apologizes for running off, but she reminds him that he is not her father. He tells her that her father is out of town, so it's up to him to protect her. Sonny explains to Lulu how ugly things are about to get, all because she didn't listen. She is to stay at his house and not talk to anyone until he deals with Alcazar. Carly walks in and Sonny tells her that Lulu is in serious trouble. There's a knock at the door, so Sonny tells Carly to keep an eye on Lulu. Sonny opens the door to see Lucky, who is there to see if Sonny knows where Jason is.

Nikolas explains to Colleen that he's simply making a change for Spencer. He tells her that Emily and he have reconciled. He wants Emily to bond with his son, since she'll probably be moving back in. He tells Colleen that she'll receive a nice severance and a good recommendation.

At the Metro Court, Jax tells Alexis to wise up – her daughter made a run for Jason the first chance she got. He challenged Alexis to remember what happened the last time she tried to keep Sam apart from Jason, “she slept with your husband!” Jax wants to impress upon Alexis that Sam is always going to Jason first, so why is she risking her health to defend her? Even if she wins the case for Sam, she won't turn into the sensible, loyal daughter that Alexis wants. Then, he leaves so that Alexis and Sam can be alone.

At Sonny's, Carly has to hold Lulu back from entering the room to see Lucky. Sonny gets rid of Lucky by promising to call the cops if he hears from Jason. After he's gone, Lulu tells Sonny that her family is probably worrying about her; she's not a five year-old. Carly sends her away so that she can talk to Sonny. She's worried that Lulu's family is probably getting worried. Also, Lulu is an impulsive girl and won't stay quiet for long. Lulu comes downstairs and tells them that she is really tired. Sonny says she can sleep, but first she has to do something.

Skye reminds Lorenzo that technically she's not his family. Now that she knows what's going on, she's expendable too. Lorenzo tells Skye that he would never deprive their daughter of her mother. He'll never cross that line. Skye asks if this is supposed to make her happy. Is she supposed to forget that he almost murdered an innocent girl? Lorenzo doesn't expect Skye to forgive him. He tells her that killing is the ugly part of his business that he never wanted her to know about. He knows there's no going back now, and he realizes that it's over between them. He knows that Skye will take Lila Rae away, and he doesn't have the strength to stop her. Skye suggests a counter offer.

Dillon explains to Georgie that he's mad at himself for making her upset all the time. He wants to make her happy. But he explains that he can't desert lulu right now. Georgie tells him that Lulu exists from crisis to crisis, why does he have to be the one to save her? His cell phone rings. It's Lulu. She tells him that she's skiing with a friend and not to worry. Dillon asks why Professor Pete was so worried about if she's just off skiing with her friends? She thanks him for worrying about her and tells him that she's calling her brothers too, so he doesn't have to. After they hang up, he tells Georgie that he feels like a jerk.

Sam admits to Alexis that she left the house to see Jason. She tells her that if Jason had asked her to leave the country, she would have gone. She tells her mother that Jax is right; she chooses Jason above all else and always will. Also, if Alexis can't accept that, she shouldn't be her attorney. There's a knock at the door and it's Ric. Sam lets him in and he tells them both that he's taking her back to lock up.

Nikolas and Emily are snuggling with Spencer, and Nikolas invites Emily to come pick out a Christmas tree with them. She suggests that they drive around and look at lights, sing carols, buy presents for the homeless shelter. She tells him that they are going to have a magical Christmas.

A not-so-magical looking Colleen visits Helena, who is bound and gagged in a cellar somewhere. She says that Helena's wish has come true -- she was fired. “With no one to care for you after I'm gone, you'll probably die. Everyone in this house deserves to die.”

Just as Ric is about to take Sam back into custody, Alexis covers for her and explains that Kristina was uncomfortable with Sam around the house so she got her a room at the Metro Court. Ric doesn't buy it, but he leaves. Sam wants to know why Alexis keeps rescuing her.

Skye tells Lorenzo that she and Lila Rae will move in with him, in exchange for Lulu's safety. She promises to live with him as long as Lulu remains unharmed. Lorenzo is shocked. He says, “You care that much about Lulu?' Skye replies, “Maybe I care that much about you.”

Sonny tells Lulu that he needs her to go to Tennessee and ID the house that Spinelli showed her the picture of. His guys are already there and they can't find it.

Lucky meets Liz at Kelly's for dinner. He reports that he still can't find Jason and he's relieved about that. He hates going after Jason when he's not done anything to him. Maxi is looking through the window at Lucky and Liz eating together and gets an evil look.
