Patrick and Lisa reminisce, Kristina enrages both Ethan and Kiefer, Sonny wants to confess, and Lulu surprises Dante.
On the island, Max and Milo play shuffleboard and ask Michael to join him. Michael passes and bemoans the fact he can't be at the trial. Michael goes to order room service and two attractive women bring it up to welcome his bodyguards to the island, per Michael's request. Max and Milo get friendly with the ladies and Michael slips out.
Sonny comes to see Alexis at her office and she wonders what he's trying to hide by sending Michael out of the country. They argue and Alexis says she thinks it's important their daughter understand Sonny killed Claudia to protect people he loved, but she's not sure that's what really happened and thinks Michael could reveal that. Sonny can't believe she thinks he would purposely beat any woman to death. Alexis asks, "Did you?"
Dante goes to the Metro Court to ask Carly where Michael is. She used to believe he cared about her kids and he assures her he does, but Sonny has to pay for what he did. They debate the issue as Claire walks in asking if Dante found Michael. Dante tells Claire he built a good case and can convict Sonny without Michael's testimony. Carly walks away, but witnesses Dante trying to protect Michael from Claire, who accuses him of being quite the family man. They go back and forth about putting Michael on the stand and Dante gets a call from Lulu who needs to see him. After Dante and Claire have left, Sonny comes to the Metro Court and Carly tells him Dante stood up for Michael with Claire. Sonny wants to tell Dante the truth because he doesn’t want him to think he would bludgeon a woman to death. Carly thinks that's a bad idea, as Claire returns with a subpoena for Michael to testify.
Dante comes upstairs at the Metro Court to see Lulu who has a surprise for him and she takes him to a loft he could move into. He tells her it's perfect and so is she. He tells her he loves her and they kiss. He thinks the place has everything he needs, but Lulu points out it doesn’t have a mattress. He says they are overrated and she notes no one is prepped to interrupt them, so they kiss more passionately.
Kristina gets ready to go out at home and asks her sister if she can hack into someone's email. Molly admits she got a program from Spinelli to do such a thing. Kristina wants Molly to send Ethan an email from Jennifer canceling their date and vice versa, so Ethan can take her out tonight instead. As Molly sends the emails, Kristina calls Kiefer and cancels their date. Kristina asks Molly to tell their mother she's with Kiefer. Molly reminds her Ethan is too old for her, but Kristina thinks he is perfect for her. Once Kristina has left, Alexis comes home and makes plans with Molly to go out for a movie and pizza. Alexis asks if Kristina is out with Kiefer and Molly lies saying she is. Once Alexis and Molly have left, an enraged Kiefer comes to the house looking for Kristina.
Ethan boards the Haunted Star dressed up for his date and Tracy comes out telling him and Luke they are in the black. Ethan fills Tracy in on his date and says he's been a good boy for so long, but it's about to change. Tracy isn't thrilled he's going out with Bernie's secretary and Ethan gets a message that Jennifer has to work. Luke wants Ethan to hang around because he has to go to Vegas for a meeting. Tracy wants to go with him, but Luke thinks she should stay to keep an eye on Ethan. As Ethan deals at a table, Tracy gets a call from Edward who summons her home. Tracy leaves and after an altercation with a player, Luke takes over for Ethan who goes behind the bar. Kristina comes up to the bar and asks him to pour her a drink. After he realizes she had something to do with Jennifer canceling on him, he flies across the bar, grabs her arm and says she's out of there. She throws her drink at him and he calls her a brat, as the guests and Luke take notice.
In the lobby, Spinelli beats himself up to Johnny about his plan gone awry. Johnny tries to make him feel better by assuring him Maxie is madly in love with him. He just needs to get out of his own way and trust that.
In her hospital room, Maxie worries about work, but Robin tells her she needs to stay there for at least 24 hours. Mac comes in and Robin admits she called him. Maxie assures him she's fine and she's not in danger of getting pneumonia. Robin leaves to check on some tests and Spinelli and Johnny come in. Mac lashes out at Spinelli, who admits he's responsible for what happened. Maxie defends Spinelli, but Mac orders Spinelli and Johnny out. Johnny leaves, but Maxie asks Spin to stay. Mac states his concerns about Spinelli to Maxie again and then leaves. Spinelli confesses to Maxie he enhanced the facts of his case so they could solve it together. He also admits he didn’t text Johnny and she could have died because he wants to be her hero, but he's anything but.
Still stuck on the elevator at the hospital, Patrick accuses Lisa of doing it on purpose so she could get him alone. She retorts that he is a raging egomaniac and assures him she is happy he has a great home life. He makes it clear nothing will happen between them and she says, "Message received." She tells him to leave her out of any boredom he may feel with his white picket fence life. Lisa gets hot and takes off her long sleeved shirt she is wearing underneath her scrubs. Patrick is reminded of one of their spring break vacations and they reminisce. The elevator starts working again and they walk out to Robin, Epiphany and the maintenance man who says he put a sign out that the elevator was scheduled for maintenance.
