General Hospital - DAILY UPDATES

Ethan leaves a message for Lucky after finding empty bottles on the bar at the Haunted Star. Tracy walks in assuming Luke was there, but Ethan doesn't think Luke would try and hide his drinking. Lulu comes to see her brother once Tracy has left and learns Lucky may have been drinking.

Lucky comes to Jason to tell him he is taking himself off Claudia's case, but he will be handing over his notes to the new detective including the fact that Maxie is a potential witness. Jason wonders why he's telling him this and Lucky says he may have judged him unfairly about a lot of things and he trusts him. Lucky realizes Jason did the best he could with the impossible Franco situation. They talk about Jake and Jason knows that while Elizabeth cared for him, she never stopped loving Lucky and never will. Sam comes to Jason's after Lucky has left and learns Maxie could be a witness because she was outside Sonny's gate that night. They summon Spinelli and Maxie over so Maxie can tell Jason everything she saw the night Claudia disappeared.

Lulu calls Lucky to the Haunted Star to ask him if he's been drinking and Lucky readily admits he has. She urges him to stick with his recovery, but he doesn’t see anything wrong with smoothing out the rough edges. Lucky goes to pour himself a drink and Lulu urges him to stop. Lucky says he's functional and points out Luke has accomplished a lot while drinking over the years. He credits Luke for living honestly even though he views the world through bloodshot eyes. He declares it's better than the rose colored glasses he's been wearing and takes a drink. Lulu tells him he's just like their dad and leaves. As Lucky continues to drink, Luke shows up and Lucky tells him he finally got it and now he's just like him.

Elizabeth and Nikolas run into each other in the elevator at the hospital and Elizabeth stops it. Nikolas promises to keep his distance and if he has to, he will resign from the hospital board if that's what she needs him to do. She thinks they can move on and be grateful they didn't ruin a lot of lives. They are glad Lucky doesn't know they slept together and Nikolas vows to take it to his grave. He starts the elevator back up and says he misses his brother, his friend, and Elizabeth thinks they will get back to that. Nikolas notes it's nice not to have the tension of the what ifs even if it is just for a short elevator ride.

Lulu meets Nikolas and Elizabeth at Elizabeth's house and tells them Lucky is drinking because of Nikolas' feelings for Elizabeth and she fears he's in big trouble.

On the pier, Carly, Morgan and Michael talk about the invites to Josslyn's christening and Morgan says Dominic has already agreed to come. Michael tells his brother Dominic is only trying to suck up to Sonny. Morgan sticks up for Dominic, but Michael tells him the only reason Dominic is nice to him is because he is paid to and calls him a dumb little kid. Morgan gets mad and Carly instructs Michael not to talk to his brother like that. Carly sends Morgan ahead to Kelly's and accuses Michael of being jealous because Dominic works for Sonny and that's something he will never be able to do.

Carly and Morgan go to the Quartermaine's to invite them to Josslyn's christening. Edward says of course they will be there because Josslyn is Michael's sister and there is nothing more important than family.

Dominic comes to Sonny's house and they go over their plan for Ronnie to tell the cops Franco confessed to killing Claudia. Dominic will make sure Ronnie does his part and then Sonny tells him he respects his smarts and work ethic. When he eventually steps down he will need someone to take over the organization and he is considering him. Sonny just wants him to think about it, but Dominic wonders about Jason. Sonny tells him Jason has made it clear he doesn't want to run the business. Dominic then wonders about Johnny and Michael and Sonny nixes Johnny and says he doesn't care what Michael wants, this is about protecting his family. Michael walks in wondering why they are talking about him and after Dominic leaves, Sonny tells him there's a possibility he will give Dom the business because he doesn't want Michael to have it. An argument ensues.

Dante meets with Ronnie on the pier to fill him in on what Sonny wants him to do regarding Franco. Ronnie calls it conspiracy and obstruction of justice and thinks it's as good as a signed confession. Dante understand that Sonny has to fall and that he's the reason for it, but he is so tired of all the lies.

Dominic returns to Sonny's house and Michael tells him to get out because he will not take what is his. Michael will not stand by and watch as Dominic tries to take down his father and threatens him. Dominic starts to leave as Sonny comes in wondering what's going on. Michael yells out he will get rid of Dominic if it's the last thing he does as an angry Dominic returns to the room.

At the hospital, Patrick and Lisa check on Chelsea from the car accident and tell her the surgery was a success. Patrick says they have to take it one step at a time though and she needs to rest. They walk out of the room and Lisa wonders why he wasn't being overly positive. He tells her they have to make sure Chelsea is ready for whatever is next. The boyfriend comes out to ask Patrick if Chelsea will be okay because he doesn't know if he can stay by her side if she's not. Patrick tells him it's not a decision he will have to make right now and the boyfriend is relieved and runs off. Lisa comes back with Chelsea's scans and Patrick apologizes for being just like that kid with one foot out the door. They talk about their past and she thinks he might have stuck around had she been hurt when he rolled his car. He's not so sure, but realizes she's thinking about Robin and her HIV. He tells her he didn't stay with Robin because he was being noble, but because he fell in love with her and how dignified she lives her life. They go in to check on Chelsea and she can't feel her legs. Patrick consoles her and promises they will do everything they can to help her.
