I have been sick for 2 days. Missed Tuesday's eppy altogether. Dragged myself out of bed to watch yesterday & I am so glad I did. A couple things stick out in my mind. Sam telling Jason to let her know if he wanted & him just reaching out blindly without turning around & grabbing her hand. Jake being involved in violence that wasn't connected with Jason. Nik's relief when he found Spencer. Johnny overhearing that it was his father ordered the violence & telling Spin that the first time his father shot him he was 8. Spin's refusal to just make a call & leave, insisting on staying with the "Mob Prince". Morgan sneaking in to see Domenic & wanting to leave his NYY helmet with him. Claudia searching franticly for Kristina & seeming genuinely scared about her. Ethan pulling Edward out of the car & teaming up with Nik & others to carry him over everybody's head. The look of contempt Nik gave Rebecca when she was talking. Mac gave somebody Andrea's purse. Obviously the digitalis is still in it. Will the police find it or will it be turned over to the mayor who will figure out what happened & destroy it? All those scenes are burned into my brain......Now as far as what's coming up. Nik & Liz having sex & agreeing that they shouldn't be doing it? As lame as Sonny's excuses for going to Olivia's house. Sam & Jason getting closer? Very good way that they have led up to that. Michael telling Claudia he knows what she did? Dramatic, especially as it looks like Claudia will be a hero for a little while for saving Kristina. Dante/Domenic needs a kidney? 98% of us saw that coming a mile away. Done before! Done to death! Come up with something new!.....As usual I posted before I read any of your comments. So Ring, enad, aussie, cbru, FUBU, rans, TNB, Cynic, bronxie, herangel, E.K.L., kini, Bean, NYD, Tipsy, ttyou, lovelymarlena, MiaB, Giese, poodles, & anyone I missed - I'm getting better at remembering people, I'll get it yet - I'm going to check in & see what you had you had to say & see who agrees or disagrees with anything. See you later.

ttyou: I just read your post. I'm really touched that you even realized I hadn't posted & even more so that you missed me. It actually made me feel better than the aspirin that I've been taking. Thanks.

heart: Alexis is frantically looking for her children. Didn't you watch the show through to the end?

Bean: Good point. Until you mentioned it, it didn't click in that Rebecca is not family & had no right to give any consent. She made the right choice but had no authority to make it. Also I didn't see Patrick actually give her a form to sign, did you? Isn't that necessary before surgery can begin? My guess is than Monica will be ok with this but Tracy will be spitting nails even though it saves Edward's life. I live in Maine, lived in Bangor for 20 years. For 10 years I lived 2 streets down from Stephen King. (No we are not in any way rich. He bought his house when he had very little money & never left after he became successful. He did do some major upgrades though. Have you heard about the quirky fence? And anyway we rented.) But you're right Michael's case is a lot like "The Dead Zone". After "The Stand" it's my favorite book. And how good were Martin Sheen & Christopher Walken in the movie?

dragonfly: Now that you've started, be sure to keep posting. There are a lot of different opinions and almost everybody respect each other's opinions whether or not they agree with them. It's a great site & I'm really glad I found it.

Cooking shows? I love Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares". These people call him in to save their restaurants & then never want to take one of his suggestions. I watch Iron Chef America a lot. I watch anything with Bobby Flay, especially his "Throwdowns". He travels all over America challenging chefs to let him compete creating THEIR specialities. He's really nice when he loses which is good because he loses 85% of the time.

TNB: One reason Michael calls Alexis Mrs. Davis is that he knows she doesn't like him. Another is that she has never even remotely suggested that he be less formal. Kristina is connected only to Sonny, not Alexis. On the other hand, what would be a good name to call her?.......The Everly Brothers? Loved them. Bye Bye Love. Walk Right Back. Wake Up Little Susie. All I Have To Do Is Dream. I'm Just Here To Get My Baby Out Of Jail. All of them & more. I wore out all my 45s of them. (Which should give you an idea of how old I am. I was devestated when they broke up.

I see a lot of us agree about Sonny's priorities. Yes Domenic saved Morgan's life & Sonny is rightly concerned. Somebody made the point that Sonny doesn't know that Kristina, Claudia & Molly are missing - although Lulu found Molly. IMO the point is Sonny SHOULD have known they were missing. He should have been out making sure they were ok. And I don't know who said Lulu was standing around being useless so this isn't at all personal. Lulu was the one who notified the hospital what happened. I didn't see anyone else running in to alert them. She got Robin to look at Molly, knowing that Molly might go into shock & stayed with her & tried to keep her calm until Alexis found them. Seems pretty useful to me. But those are just my opinions. Everybody sees things differently.

Zentatta, you had a good point about Michael addressing Alexis as Ms. Davis. It is good manners for a child and young adult to refer to their friends parents by their title, Mr. Mrs. or Miss. The only other way he could address her is Aunt Alexis, which would be a courtesy title bestowed on friends of the family, and only with her permission, as he is not her nephew. Calling her Alexis would be rude.

As a European I have taken a lot of ribbing by addressing people at work by their title followed by their last name. I don't like the familiarity of people calling you by your first name unless they are close friends and family. People should ALWAYS be addressed formally until they give you permission to use their first name.

Did you know that Gordon Ramsey has a troubled brother who pops up in the papers regularly trying to blame and shame Gordon for his being broke and living in poverty. Gordon has helped his brother out, getting him into expensive rehab and trying to get him to straighten out for many years until he realised that it was all one way, his brother was not even trying and cut him off. Now his brother is trying to make Gordon feel guilty about being rich and famous while he is a slave to drugs. Whine, whine, whine, feel sorry for me because I'm a loser. They never thank you for what you have done for them, they just curse you for what you didn't do.

    Welcome back zen...

As for addressing people, we call people by their nicknames. Especially at work. Even managers. But, my workplace is very easy going. I'd say most of them are like that here.

zen, I can't stand Gordon Ramsay. He's vulgar and crass. He was here in June doing some cooking shows and called one of our newscasters a pig in front of the audience.

We get Iron Chef America here on cable but I find that is skips to too many people and pots/pans. I can't concentrate on one thing when I watch that show with the jumping all over the place.
