What a good episode!GH is getting better and better.

I was actually crying at the scene where Jason was walking alone through the aftermath.I was thinking-Jake got hurt,It had nothing to do with the mob or his dads job.I want to see Jason be a dad to his son.Period.

I loved all the scenes with Lucky,Liz,Sam and Jason.i would love to see them together more.

Jax is going to be leaned on a lot in the days ahead by Olivia.I do not like her anymore.Too much get away and stay away from me them too much kissy kissy.Ick-and Sonny reminds me of my friends husband years ago.No matter how much he hurt her,he was always cheating on her.She was always pregnant, everyone in our neighborhood knew,he would not stop.He is on his 3rd wife now,I am sure he still cheats.

Claudia and Rebecca are both acting genuinely concerned.Hmmm.

I feel sorry for Johnny,he has no one he can trust.Olivia owes it to him to tell the truth.Really, she can't can she.

I hope Dante is okay, but Iknow he will be.

I thought everyone gave great performances today.Even hair, makeup, wardrobe.everything was so good it was like watching a movie-thank you everyone that put that show together!

Well I guess Andrea meets the criteria that someone dies at the carnival. Cause of Death: what goes around comes around. The irony that she poisoned Edward and caused him to collapse while driving a car that kills her.

It's nice to see Jason so concerned about Jake and that he and Liz can be cordial and supportive even though they aren't in a relationship anymore.

Sonny annoys me as usual. I doubt that a injuried Dominic gives a flying fig about his undying gratitude for saving Morgan. Can't stand that monotone voice of his.

Emily was adopted not Rebecca so don't know how that makes her a family member who makes decisions about Edward's medical care. I don't care what the outcome is, I still don't care for the character.

Thinking about Michael's gift due to being in a coma reminded me of the Stephen King movie with Christopher Walken (which spawned a series with Anthony Michael Hall) called Dead Zone in which a man awakens from a lengthy coma and finds that he has the ability to see the future. In the movie, he discovers a man running for President will cause a nuclear war.

aussie My parents moved to the States about 15 or so years ago and after they became citizens, they filed for residency for me and my younger brother (he's in the navy). I resisted for years because I was traveling to and from the States a lot due to work and preferred this to actually living here, but a few years ago I finally decided to live here since my parents spent so much money and time into getting us too live here. So I am a permanent resident of the US as well as a Jamaican citizen.

Ttoyou: Thanks for sharing your background: I actually like freckles, I think they are adorable! I have never seen anyone with as many freckles in real life or on Tv until I watched Transporter 3 and saw the the female lead and I thought she was gorgeous!

Heartliason: Thanks for explaining. I guess you could tell that I am a fan of Sam. I don't entirely dislike Liz though (LOL). I do however, think that she is way too contrary and has a tendency to string men along. But I like the fact that we can rationally discuss this without it becoming Liz vs. Sam. Yes, Sam has definitely come a long way. I think she realized how completely wrapped up in Jason's life, but I understand that she considered him to be her only real family, somebody who had loved her without expecting anything in return. Remember her background, her adopted father only kept her around to use as bait for running cons, she was raised in this lifestyle where people were viewed as nothing but marks, so she has never had an honest relationship until Jason who showed her kindness until he stupidly and unceremoniously dumped her that is. So yeah, she didn't know what to do with herself for a while there. However, when this accident happened, Jake was evidently buried in front of them or in close proximity to them, so that called for immediate attention. Also, she and Jason arrived at the Carnival after most of the other main characters, so for all we know she hasn't seen her sisters or mother since going to the Carnival nor is aware that they are there.

Off topic but what the heck!

ttoyou, I was raised in an Irish Catholic neighborhood in Britain and agree with you about the guilt. Frank McCourt got it right when he said worse than a miserable Irish childhood is a miserable Irish Catholic childhood.

My family are not Irish, other than a wee drop many generations ago, but we lived across the street from the church and school and the rest of the congregation was Irish. It was a seven days a week total immersion. Every morning at 7 am mass and holy communion before school, confession on Saturday whether you had sinned or not, the rosary before bed. I can still recite the Litany of the Saints! Sunday mass listening to the constant shake down for money, which was never enough, then Benediction in the evening. No meat on Fridays, ceilidh in the church hall on Saturdays, passion plays, the religious processions, etc. A school outing was to a monastery or holy shrine for the day. My father had been to school with all my friends' parents, and my grandfather with their grandparents. Everyone knew everyone else and all their family history (and secrets).

Despite all that, I do miss the community where we knew we belonged. It is a shock to me now to find that I cannot follow the mass in English and to see all the changes in the church. I actually preferred it the way it was, but maybe that is just pining for my childhood. I am also grateful for the ethical values which it gave me.

You call it brainwashing, yes it is, and it will never leave me as it goes too deep even though I rarely go to church these days - they are all southern baptist around here.

Aussie-gal. I love several of the cooking shows, Giada's Everyday Italian and Giada At Home, Barefoot Contessa, Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and Cooking for Real. Nice to know that we have something other than GH in common (LOL)

I wonder if Claudia would ever be punished for what happen to Michael, at this point I don't think that will ever happen, or it has already.

Enad19, your Jamaican?? I am Jamaican, citizen of both, my parents both and England. I am intrigued. I saw your comments about your background mixes but I did not know what you were exactly referring to. I know many Jamaicans have many mixes, lol, my family. My uncle's dad was full chinese, my grandma, not sure some say her mom was mix with German, others something else who knows.
Anyway back to the topic, IA it is great to discuss the characters without it going in some frustrating debate, I like to see others ideas and concepts. And I see what your saying about she may not have known her family were at the carnival. I know Sam has a background what was checkered, that is why I said it was refreshing to see her take on the PI business and take on her own, I am just saying hope the writers dont stop at that.
