Holly and Ethan both visit Robin, Claudia catches Michael up on some things, Luke ponders his mortality and fatherhood, and Jax and Carly come to an understanding.
Robin plays with Emma at home, as Ethan knocks on the door. She recognizes him from the Haunted Star and he says he might be her brother. Robin is taken aback so Ethan explains everything. Robin asks him how he feels about all this, but he knows nothing about Robert. Robin says she will tell him everything he wants to know, but she doubts Robert is his father. She doesn't believe Holly because Robert would have told her if he had a son. Ethan counters that he might not have known and Robin asks for his birth date so she can do some fact checking.
Alexis watches as Holly and Luke are hauled into the police station. Tracy follows, saying Holly is guilty, but Luke is innocent. However, the cop says Luke was in the hotel room so he is an accomplice. Luke explains he was in her hotel room for information, not sex. Holly asks Alexis to talk to Mac because she's been framed, but Tracy accuses her of stealing one of her necklaces. Mac walks up to them and Holly is happy to see him. Mac tells her that no matter what trouble she is in, Robin will be thrilled to see her. Holly becomes nervous that Robin’s back, but is anxious to see her and asks Mac to help her get out because Tracy is just being jealous.
Claudia comes to see Patrick and thanks him for what he’s done for Michael. She asks if people in a coma remember what is said to them. Patrick explains that it may seem like a dream to them, but some patients can remember what was said. Olivia walks up with insurance forms for Michael and overhears. Claudia takes the papers and storms off.
Jason visits Michael who asks who shot him. Jason tries to dance around the subject, but Michael reminds him he has always told him the truth. Jason relents and tells Michael that Ian Devlin did it, but he is dead now. Michael wants more information about him, but someone comes to get him for physical therapy. He asks Jason to come back later so he can learn the rest of the story.
Carly packs up some things for Michael and Jax comes downstairs. She wants to be there for Michael’s first therapy session, but Jax thinks he should do it on his own. Carly gets perturbed and says Michael is angry because she wasn’t there when he woke up. Jax asks if she ate breakfast and Carly tells him she packed food for the hospital so he doesn’t have to worry about her. Jax wants Carly to take it easy, but Carly gets upset he is asking her to stay away from her son. Jax is concerned Michael is taking his anger out on her and says he will go with her if she insists on going to the hospital. Carly isn’t sure she wants him to. Jax doesn’t want to fight and walks upstairs.
Jason walks into Sam’s office and tells her Michael is asking about the shooting. He asks Sam to help him stop Claudia from trying to cover her tracks. They think they need to find Fredo who is working for Claudia. Jason asks Sam to find out what she can on Fredo and leaves to see Michael.
Luke is free to go, but Tracy won’t drop the charges against Holly. Mac tells Holly he could have been more helpful if he knew she was in town and suggests she work things out with Tracy. Mac will call Diane for representation and Holly is dragged off to the interrogation room.
Tracy walks in and tells Holly to leave Port Charles without sleeping with Luke and she’ll drop the charges. Holly agrees, but Tracy thinks she is hiding something, but she doesn't want to know what it is and considers herself the winner.
Robin does the math and tells Ethan during the timeframe he was conceived, Robert was in Port Charles so he can’t be his father. Robin is sorry Holly lied to him and Ethan says he never gave a damn who his birth parents might be, but now that’s all he can think about.
Michael returns from therapy and Claudia comes to visit him. He recognizes her and she blurts out that she is his stepmother. Michael is shocked and Claudia catches him up on why they got married. Claudia tells Michael how Sonny would sit by his bedside and talk to him for hours and asks if he remembers any of it. Michael doesn’t remember much, and Claudia says she will do everything she can to help him as Jason angrily listens at the door.
At the office, Olivia tells Jax about Claudia and Olivia wonders what happens if Michael remembers. Jax says then he will remember that Jax knows Jerry is responsible too. Olivia thinks all he can do is focus on Michael's recovery and taking care of Carly. Jax can’t put Carly's life at risk by telling her about Claudia and notes they are very far apart right now.
Carly goes to the hospital and asks Patrick about Michael’s therapy session, which she learns went well. However, he tells her Michael has poor impulse control and he’s still angry so it’s best if she doesn't visit him and make his condition worse. He knows how difficult this is for her, but giving him some space right now is the best thing for both her and Michael.
Alexis goes to the Haunted Star and finds Luke with a bottle of booze. He still thinks Ethan is his son, or maybe he just wants him to be, but between Tracy and Holly he doesn't know which end is up. Alexis reminds him he never wanted kids in the first place, but Luke says things have changed. He recounts his facing death and all he sees ahead of him is limited possibilities and limited time. Maybe he just loves the idea of having a kid who likes him and looks up to him instead of down on him. He adds maybe he didn't realize he needs to have a kid who thinks he has something important to teach him.
Carly goes to see Jax and tells him what Patrick said. Jax feels bad for her and Carly apologizes for pushing him away and asks him to not let her do that again. Carly is frustrated with what’s going on and doesn't want to let what’s happening with Michael tear them apart. Jax doesn't want her to give up on Michael, but he’s worried about her. Carly vows to make this family work and it starts with them loving each other first.
Ethan comes to the Haunted Star, but doesn’t want to talk about Holly. He does tell Luke about his visit with Robin though and that he can’t possibly be Robert’s son.
Holly pays Robin a visit. Robin wonders why Holly lied about Robert being Ethan's father. Holly says she set something in motion, but now she wants to stop it and asks Robin to help her.
