    Robin's Dance Card is Full!

    Thursday, March 12 2009
Sonny asks Robin to get involved with Michael's case, Spinelli and Maxie are reunited and Lucky has a new friend as well as an enemy.

Sonny has joined Carly at Michael's bedside. They smile and remember some of the good times they had with their son and Sonny assures her that he never would've let Michael go into the business. Jax comes in and Sonny thanks him for all he's done. Jax tells him that he loves Michael, too. He and Carly leave Sonny behind.

As they walk along the grounds, Carly says that the fresh air feels good even though she wanted to pull the covers over her head about ten minutes ago. Jax asks if she wants to go to Fiji to get married. Carly reminds him that they never really divorced. He jokes that Alexis and Diane can speed up the divorce. She won't do it, so Jax suggests that they renew their vows.

"We're not going to lose any of these kids," Robin assures the doctor who greets her at the door at Mercy Hospital. She gets busy preparing for the arrival of the crash victims, but takes a minute to sit with Nikolas when he comes in. He's on his way to a fundraising meeting for GH, but he's worried about seeing the Quartermaines because they'll have questions about Rebecca. He tells Robin that he's given up on looking for any connection to Emily and then casually tells her to give his love to Emma. That's when Robin realizes what she's done.

Lucky finds Ethan on the waterfront and continues their argument from The Haunted Star. One thing leads to another and a fistfight breaks out. Rebecca comes along and breaks it up. She tells Lucky to arrest Ethan for hitting a cop, but he says that this is personal. He calls the station to see if Ethan has any outstanding warrants, but doesn't find any. Ethan leaves, and Rebecca tends to Lucky's cut.

Robin races into Kelly's and gratefully finds Emma sleeping exactly where she left her. As she crouches by the stroller, Rebecca and Lucky come in. She assures them that everything's fine and deflects the conversation by asking about the gash in Lucky's head. She tells him that it needs stitches, so Rebecca offers to go with him to Mercy.

While Robin's sitting with Emma and collecting her thoughts, she gets a call from Sonny. He says that he has a feeling that the doctors are missing something and he'd like her to secretly get involved on the case.

Luke and Tracy are at The Haunted Star bar when Johnny shows up looking for Lulu. She arrives and informs Luke and Tracy that Johnny started a garage business and they can bring him business. Tracy scoffs at the idea of trusting a grease monkey with any of the Quartermaine fleet, but Luke offers to throw some business his way. Johnny tells Lulu that he doesn't want charity and she tells him that she wants his business to succeed so he doesn't have to go on any more dates with Maxie!

Out in LA, Jason, Sam, Winifred and Maxie arrive at the art auction venue that they've traced Cassandra to. Maxie and Winifred are still arguing, but Sam and Jason get to work. As they prepare their handguns, Winifred asks if they have permits for their weapons. Sam is able to look at Winifred's laptop and determine which room holds the computer, although she isn't willing to tell a Fed such as Winifred how she did it. They insist that Maxie stay behind in the parking garage and rush inside.

Inside, Cassandra has put Spinelli in front of the computers and given him 19 minutes to gain access to the art. He gets busy and is able to do so within seconds of the deadline. Cassandra is happy with his work, but instead of releasing him she leaves him with a guard. Spinelli tries diplomacy with the guard, but ends up jumping on him as if he wants a piggyback ride. The guy quickly gives him the shake and draws his gun. Thankfully, Team Spinelli rushes in and knocks him out before he can shoot. When Spinelli finds out that Maxie is outside he asks that they take him to her. Winifred wants to call the cops, but Jason grabs the keyboard to prevent leaving any fingerprints. Winifred says that it's a good thing that Spinelli didn't actually open the vault or he'd be an accessory. Spinelli just rolls his eyes.

Cassandra and her goon have found Maxie in the parking lot. She pretends to be Brangelina's rep, but they don't buy it. They quickly figure out that she's looking for the computer nerd and try to stash her in their car. That's when Spinelli, Jason, Sam and Winifred come out. Winifred puts Cassandra under arrest and Maxie rushes into Spinelli's arms.

    Next on General Hospital:

Claudia impresses Sonny with an idea to throw a party to show who's the boss.

Sonny and Claudia have hot sex.

    Jax and Carly make love.

Maxie's in danger, but Team Spinelli rushes to her rescue.

Sam has an idea how to clear Spinelli's name.

Robin doesn't admit to Patrick that she left Emma at Kelly's.

Patrick tries to convince himself that Robin's okay.

OK, is it me or have they really played out this PPD thing with Robin? I mean is a good thing that they are doing it, but come on how much longer do we have to put up with this?

HOW is it possible that Robin goes to the hospital, has a conversation with the doctors and Nic and all the way back and NO ONE notices that her baby was left alone? That is stretching it even for a soap. I lvoe SPIXIE, but why can't Spinelli ever save himself or be the hero. He has been around long enough that he should have grown up. He can still be different/odd and be able to take care of himself. Whoever said yesterday that Luke needed to wake and and dry his liver out...Helena is coming...that is too funny, but right on. Maybe that is what he needs, a little adventure to bring back the Luke we know and love. Don't like how he dissed his kid...even if it is UNLucky...

Well I'm the first to post a comment. I enjoy the Maxie, Winifred, Jason, Sam, and Spinelli scene today it was so funny. I was falling out laughing when Jason told Maxie to shut up. Maxie my girl when she was making up jokes to Cassandra and her enemies I was dying I loved her. You go Lucky beat Ethan butt, but still I agree with Rebecca he should still go to jail because he physically insulted a police officer. Lulu girl you can do so much better than that wimp Johnny. I hate him and his sister and what they did to Michael they gonna pay and be sentence to jail for the rest of their life. He have no right embarrassing lulu today about his stupid mechanic job, but when she finds out he and his sister involvement in michael's shooting there isn't going to be no relationship between them two and Sonny isn't going to have a marriage either. Robin is so lucky bringing emma back because if she would've lost her baby Patrick would've been desperate.

After watching today's show, I had to write in about a post from NYDrama on yeterday. I don't think the viewers on yesterday were throwing Robin under the bus. I also think they were all willing to give her a second and a third chance, but when I saw that baby sleeping so innocently in that stroller, totally oblivious to the fact that her mother had left her alone, I had to respond. I know it's just a tv show, but I had tears in my eyes. So many babies are drowned in bathtubs, thrown out of windows, and killed in other ways because no one wants to confront the mother about her problem. We know Robin is sick, but that is no excuse for Patrick, Maxie, Liz, and everyone else to keep telling her that she is just a little overwhelmed like all mothers. There is a big difference in being overwhelmed and almost hating your baby. The only one who challenged her was Carly because she went through it herself, but everyone else keeps telling her that she's a great mother, and she's no different than any other overwhelmed mother. Matt is absolutely right, but Patrick is in denial. Denial causes a lot of children to end up dead. I really thought that they were going to let someone find the baby, then Robin would not be able to excuse her actions, but she found the baby, so no one knows how sick she is. She is not going to change until something worse happens to the baby. Then, just like in real life, everyone will be kicking themselvez for not noticing or not insisting that she get help. Because a baby is involved, this s/l is very difficult to watch. If the baby dies, Robin and Patrick will never recover. So, NYDrama, that's why we mothers lashed into Robin, Not because we want to condemn her, but because time only makes things worse.

Robin, Robin, Robin. It's time girlfriend you need help/meds.

Here's a LOL memory: I took my grandson to church with me yrs ago, he was about 5-6 months old. My mom was ill (end stage cancer) So I was helping her to the car along with my Godmother and forgot my grandson. I'm sure I wasn't suffering from grandma PPD, my grandson was passed around so much. So after service, we go to the car, I was backing up and looked at the empty car seat. I put the car in park got out without saying a word, got the kid went back to the car. My mom said "hm, some grandma you are". I said you two are great-grandmas and didn't notice the kid wasn't here. Just thought I share that bit of info.

The Spinilli rescue was a little over the top for me. He deciedes to jump a big man instead of a woman yesterday. And why not hit him over the head with something instead of the piggie back ride. And Maxie...really? I was just waiting for the light bulb moment when Robin remembered Emma. Seems like a lot happen between her leaving the baby and going back for her. Like at least a half hour. Would have been way better if she got there and the baby was gone. Like in the back with Mike or Liz came back for something. She has got to realize that this is over the top. It's not like she's a tough baby...it's almost as if Robin just doesn't like her. Ethan started that fight with Lucky to stop him from seeing a photo he was holding...i'm thinking Holly and Robert. Nice to see Lucky man up.
