Anthony straps his own daughter to a live bomb, Luke has a new barkeep and Spinelli is arrested by the Feds.
Bernie hasn't released the millions yet and Sonny asks Jason if he, like Bernie, thinks it's a waste of time to save his wife. Jason says that he'll spend any amount of money to save Spinelli, and asks when he started caring about her? Sonny tells Jason that he can't ignore the fact that Claudia told him the truth about her father. Sonny says that he doesn't trust her or even like her very much, but he does understand her now. The money arrives and Jason tells Sonny that Spinelli came up with a tracking device that Anthony will never find. He gives Sonny a bulletproof vest and tells him not to die for Claudia.
Meanwhile, Anthony takes Claudia to a warehouse. He laughs at her blind faith that her husband will save her instead of turning her old man in and jokes that her only marriage will end in disappointment. Claudia clarifies that she doesn't expect Sonny to rescue her. Anthony disagrees. He says that Sonny will come unless he's learned that she was behind his kid's shooting. He makes Claudia call Sonny and tell him to bring the money to warehouse nine. After they hang up, Anthony can't imagine why anyone would spend money to save her. Claudia asks why he needs to humiliate her so much? "You've been a misery to me your whole life starting with the fact that you were born female," he begins. He says that if Sonny really does show up, he just might tell him about Michael. Claudia tells him that he'd never do that because Johnny's life would be at stake, too. She tells him that she hates him and he's going to get a bullet in the back of the head.
Over at The Metro Court, Jax and Carly find themselves talking about Sonny and his ego once again. Carly asks what she should do now that she's opened the door for Sonny to see Morgan again. She tells him about the time Sonny spent with both boys over the holidays and it helped her to let go of her anger. Jax says that he won't bully her about her decision. He suggests that they ride out whatever this situation with Sonny is and then reassess.
Later, Jax finds Olivia and asks her to open the pool early tomorrow so that Morgan can swim like a normal kid before school. He explains that Sonny is having another crisis and suddenly Olivia gets it. She takes a minute, though, to explain that to Sonny the worst thing a man can do is abandon his children. Jax asks if he's supposed to sit quietly by while his stepson is in danger? Olivia says that adults should do everything humanly possible to keep their kids safe.
Spinelli and Lulu are on edge at Crimson as they wait for Johnny and Maxie to return from their 'date'. Lulu insists that Johnny and Maxie are only friends and that tonight was more or less a business meeting. When Kate arrives, Spinelli orders her to cease and desist when it comes to pushing Maxie and Johnny together or else he'll crash her system. Kate calmly asks Lulu if she's part of the problem or the solution? Lulu does her best to make Spinelli promise not to touch the Crimson computers. Just then, Maxie and Johnny roll in after a great night. Kate tells them that she'll get them invited to an art film next, but Spinelli puts his foot down. Johnny agrees…unless Kate can make it worth his while. Kate tells him that the thousand dollars was a one-time deal. Johnny makes a good case and Kate gives in.
After Kate leaves, Johnny assures Lulu that the money is great and now he can take her out. Spinelli urges Maxie to find a new escort if only for Lulu's sake. Maxie tells Spinelli that her choice would be to be with him, and Spinelli apologizes for putting his jealously ahead of her career ambitions. Then he tells Johnny that he has a better way to raise funds.
Still at the jail north of town, Ethan admits that he took Tracy's money but says that he can't seem to help himself. He says ever since he was a child he gravitated to shiny things, or green in this case. Luke scoffs at his manipulation, but Tracy seems to melt at Ethan's sob story. Luke tells her that Mr. Lovett removed him of 'five large' within minutes of meeting him. Tracy tells Ethan that he doesn't owe Luke any money because as his wife she will forgive his debt. After Tracy leaves to post Luke's bail, Luke tells Ethan to find his own gravy train. After he's free, he pulls Tracy out of there leaving Ethan and his puppy dog eyes on his own.
Somehow Ethan ends up in the car with them anyway. Tracy offers him a job tending bar at The Haunted Star. They argue over salary and percentage of tips and guess who comes out on top? Ethan. Tracy insists that he'll be good for the place.
Jason and Sonny are outside of warehouse nine. Jason urges him not to go in without backup. Sonny doesn't want to risk Claudia's life by changing the rules. Jason reminds him not to kill Anthony. "If it's between Anthony the madman or Claudia, Claudia lives," Sonny insists as he walks inside alone.
As Jason lurks outside the warehouse, Spinelli calls and asks him to finance a small business for Johnny. Jason wants to talk about it later, but Spinelli doesn't pick up on his sense of urgency. Suddenly, Jason hears a ruckus through the phone and hears Spinelli being put under arrest by the Feds.
Sonny tosses two gym bags full of cash to the middle of the warehouse floor. Anthony comes out and tells him, "You can grab me or save Claudia, but you can't have both," he teases.
Claudia nervously waits up on the roof. She's strapped to a chair with a bomb on her lap.

Sonny is able to dismantle a bomb strapped to Claudia.
Jason goes after Anthony.
Spinelli and Maxie say their goodbyes.
Jason delivers Anthony just in time to save Spinelli.
Sonny and Claudia share a kiss after they realize that he has indeed saved her.
Rayner tells Jason to deliver goods on Sonny next.
Anthony gives Johnny a dire warning and Lulu is upset that his family still rattles him.
