Spinelli's friends won't give up on him, Sonny tells Claudia that he'd like to stay married and Nik vows to get answers about Rebecca.
Patrick and Robin are still in awe of the fact that their little family is safe and together at home. They fill each other in on what they went through tonight and Robin promises that she'll never act like she's always right again. "I made every wrong decision that I could possibly make and it's a miracle that Emma survived it," she admits. She says that she should've pushed fluids at home rather than try to get through a blizzard with a baby. Patrick tries to cut Robin some slack and apologizes for not being there for her. When it's time to feed Emma, Robin tells Patrick that he should do it since he missed her so much tonight.
Spinelli is finally free of the air vent inside General Hospital. Jason tries to kick open the door between them but it blows open during another explosion. The room bursts into flames and Jason tells Sam that he's going in and to give him two minutes and then leave the building. After more than two minutes go by, Sam nervously watches the flames where he disappeared. Jason bursts through with an unconscious Spinelli on his back. After Sam gives him mouth-to-mouth, they pick him up and take off. Spinelli wants to go back for his computer, but there's no way Jason and Sam will go for it.
The stairwells are hot and smoky and they are running out of time and energy. When they come to a door that's hot, they decide that they can't backtrack. They unanimously agree to go through the flames and not stop moving no matter what. The threesome latches hands and takes off.
Maxie sees the explosion from outside the hospital and attempts to go into the building, but Lucky stops her. Winifred agrees because the Jackal would not like it if she were hurt. Maxie reluctantly gives in and goes with Winifred back inside the FBI trailer. Maxie says that she believes in herself when Spinelli is around and proceeds to tell Winifred all of the wonderful things about him.
Nikolas is at The Metro Court insisting that Marty give him Rebecca Shaw's home address and phone number. Rebecca comes up behind him and warns that she'll call the cops if her personal information is given out. Later, Nik asks Lucky to meet him there and then fills him in. Lucky tells him to give it a break at least for tonight. After Nik leaves, Lucky tells Marty that the PCPD wants to speak with a Miss Rebecca Shaw.
It's not long before Rebecca comes down to the lobby for questioning. He keeps his cool but is clearly floored by how much she looks like Emily. She tells him that she almost died twice tonight so it's no wonder that people act like they're seeing a ghost.
Meanwhile, Nik is at Emily's grave promising to do whatever it takes to find out why Rebecca Shaw looks exactly like her.
Over at Mercy, Lulu finds Tracy's bedpan lying on the floor by her door. Tracy threw it because she asked for water and they brought her a bedpan. Lulu is glad to see that she's feeling better and guesses that she probably hasn't heard from Luke yet. Lulu tells her that love is overrated anyway.
Sonny is over in Claudia's room talking about the status of their marriage. Sonny says that with Anthony out of the picture they need to know how far they'll go to get what they want. Claudia offers him his freedom, but before Sonny can reply a nurse comes in and needs to take her vitals.
As Sonny waits, Olivia finds him on behalf of Kate. She tells him that her cousin is acting crazy and he could help by not giving her any false hope. Sonny says that she's been trying to tell him something all night, but he's married to someone else now.
Nonetheless, Sonny goes to Kate's room to see how she's doing. She tells him that tonight has put a lot into perspective for her. Sonny says that this 'back and forth' between them isn't good for either of them and that she is so much better off not marrying him. Kate says that she still cares enough to warn him about something. He asks what she's been trying to tell him and she answers with a question. "If you and Claudia split up, would you come back to me?" she asks. Sonny lists all the ways she has been hurt by him and she wisely takes that as a 'no'. He says that he can't keep anyone safe and Claudia understands that. He says that he gets what he deserves and he doesn't see a reason to leave her. Kate doesn't even try to hide her tears as she tells him that he is getting exactly what he deserves then. Later when Olivia comes in Kate tells her that Sonny will pay for the hurt he has caused her!
Johnny brings Claudia some bad hospital coffee and asks if she's ready to leave the country yet. She says that Sonny's being nice to her because she told him that their father shot Kate. She explains that it was clear that Sonny would beat Anthony at his own game and she decided to throw in with the winning side. Johnny says that Sonny's gratitude won't last when he finds out that they are responsible for his kid's shooting. Claudia asks him to let it ride for a while. Johnny tells her that she is risking her life to be with Sonny Corinthos because Kate will open her mouth sooner or later.
Sonny comes in and asks to speak with his wife alone. After Johnny leaves, he says that he just came from an interesting conversation with Kate. He says that he and Kate won't get the future they wanted, but she only saw a man who didn't exist. Claudia says that she understands, and Sonny agrees that she does because she grew up in the business. Sonny says that her father is gone and he's no longer enemies with Jason so he's looking for new opportunities. Claudia asks what he's saying and he answers with, "I'm willing to stay married if you are."
Maxie and Winifred are standing outside of GH when Sam and Jason push through the doors in a puff of smoke. All eyes are on the doorway until Spinelli comes sputtering through it. Maxie rushes into his arms and gives him a big kiss.
